If he exaggerated it, he'd have went down, not tried to carry on despite being fouled.

Sinclair very much exaggerated the most minimal of contact's. This boy tonight didn't exaggerate the penalty at all and instead stayed on his feet until hurdling Gordon. I don't get the link?

I’m really unhappy with the current staple team right now.

I can’t believe Edouard is keeping Griffiths out the team when he’s FAR from a goal threat, is only on loan, and all attacking play seems to break down when it gets to him.

I don’t like Ajer, I don’t need to hear about how young he is I just don’t think he’s a Centre Half, at least not the one we need. Boyata and Simunovic have been awful all season, a total shadow of the powerhouse partnership they were towards the end of last season.

We loan out Sviatchenko, who I do like; bring in a 33 year old Compper, and are now being linked with Flannagan. John. *-Flannagan. When Ralston is twice the player.

We really need to get some new faces in to freshen up the place, and if there are any egos/bag eggs in the dressing room get shot of them ASAP.

 

That was minimal contact tonight too and hardly enough to spin him around the way he did,they are both penalty's

 

Agree with most of that mate, but siatchenko had been pretty poor for a while in defence, big Ajers came in and did well, since he's came in at the back we've conceded 1 goal in 6 games and that was the penalty tonight which was nothing to do with him , he's defended well and can also burst forward at pace and start an attack , on his last 6 games since he came in can't really see what you dislike about him , whether he was 19 or 29 the guys did well since he came in

First half was shocking, honestly looked the same as we did before we went to Dubai.

Second half was much better and lo and behold, Griffiths did well because we played to his strengths! Instead of hoofing the ball up to him like we've done a few times this season.

Bit worrying we needed to go a goal behind to get a reaction out of the team. We've got Hibs and Hearts in the next few days, you think we'll be able to score against them if we play as slow and ponderous as we did in that first half? Levein will be rubbing his hands thinking about it.

If the thistle player was trying to make a meal of it he would have just went down. Didnt try to exaggerate at all imo.

 

Hard to say, he was hardly touched yet ended up stumbling around like he was going to fall. You don't know if he started stumbling because he thought about going down then decided not and lost balance or if he actually was knocked off balance by Lustig.

What was it Brendan said? We'll be back after the winter break sharper and fitter or something like that. Well that was clearly b*ll*ks. Same problems as before the break. Play too slow, too many touches, too many backwards/sideways passes, players playing who shouldn't be, players who should be playing left out, gifting the opposition chances etc etc. Lustig is now nothing but a liability, Boyata thinks he's a player. He isn't. Edouard? there's better forwards playing for Motherwell FFS. We really need fresh blood at the minute, team has gone stale, but i fear the best we'll end up with is Rogic and Paddy returning from injury. I really thought this season was gonna be different and the club was going to try and push on.

 

Griff, just back from injury.. he'll play now tho..

I've said it loads of times now but 4-2-3-1 affords us possession and control but can be pedestrian and easy to defend against.

Would like to see us start with 3-4-3 or similar more often. Put teams on the back foot from the start.
