The problem Ntcham has, when he's not brilliant he's got to be *. There's no inbetween with him and his style makes him an easy scapegoat.

He should have done better with a couple of his chances, but some of his passing was top drawer. He makes passes that most other players in the league wouldn't even see.

That blindside one with his left foot that he put out for Frimpong with one touch second half...... others definitely just do not see those..

That day is not very often though, bags of quality but no desire. That's why Christie is a level above him.

Thought was good, seen some passes nobody else would. Okay we conceded but I think we were a lot better tonight. Unlucky a couple of shots

He's just a scapegoat. He was solid and shouldn't be talked about in a negative fashion.

Best no8 in Scotland for that box to box role on his game the pass to Frimpong to switch it was sublime!

He just throws his foot at everything in the hope of a wonder goal. Sometimes his decision making could be better. He's a good player who on his day I'm glad we have him.

He's capable of scoring a wonder goal every now and then, but his decision making at times could be better. He's also capable of this, and 2 passes that spring to mind were his first time pass through to Eddy, and his reverse pass out wide to Frimpong.

Never rated him and still don't. Just doesn't contribute enough to justify starting - like playing with 10 and a half men. Hope Soro is good enough to take his place.

Needs to start staying behind after training to work on his shooting.

Had his slippers on in the middle last night but with every shot he takes I just wonder more and more how he scored in Rome. Composure deserts him at the sight of goal at times.

Yeah, he receives the ball in some brilliant positions but his shooting from 18-25 yards is some of the worst I can remember from a box-to-box midfielder playing with us.

Not everyone is going to be as prolific as a Petrov but you've got to at least test the keeper on a few occasions.

The contrast between our goal threat when Christie plays is night and day (this season):

    Ntcham - 30 appearances, 5 goals, 4 assists (total minutes 1,636)

    Christie - 33 appearances, 17 goals, 13 assists (total minutes 2,567)

Those stats are the main issue for me. It doesn't matter how silky he looks he just doesn't contribute enough where it matters. As well as a lack of goals/assists there's also a lack of tackles, aggression and ground covered.

At times i wonder if his heart is really in it tbh, i know he has great ability, but always feel he could give more.
