Anybody else notice how this wee guy keeps the beat to any song you listen too? :party048:

A slow ballad or a gabber hardcore track and he doesn't miss a trick.

The band that started it all for me.

    "N-Joi, yeah?"

    Edit.

The female vocalist in the first track is Saffron, future lead vocalist of Republica. I seen up her skirt when she opened for The Shamen in The Arches.

I started listening to this kind of stuff before I'd hit my teens; 32 now and I'm still guilty of getting it on now at the weekends now and again, usually when absolutely *. It's great that there's so much on Youtube now, I had literally hundreds of tapes collected over the years but now I can find most of them on there. Personal favourites were folk like Brisk, Sy, Vibes n Livelee, MC *, Slipmatt. Some of the Club Kinetic mixes are quality, would love to have gone to them even once. The new hardcore nights seem to mix in with stuff like Hardstyle which I canny stand :(

I seen Q-Tex live in the 90s and one of the dancers picked up a bottle and smashed it over the other dancers head. It was that sugar glass obviously but when your fleeing out your nut and see it unfolding in front of your eyes it was a pure head *. :giggle1:
