That's a stonewall pen and a stonewall red card!

Never a pen. Christie one was more of a shout. It was a 50/50 St Johnstone boy couldn’t pull out of that tbf

You go in studs up like that it’s dangerous play and a foul, it matters not where it happens on the park.. stonewall pen.

Are you guys on crack? As JC and Scootz say, it's a straight leg leading with the studs. Only in Scotland would this even be a debate. That kind of thing can end careers. I mean I get it if you haven't seen the replay, my initial reaction was that it was a 50/50; but the replay is very clear.

Ask yourself this: if this is a CL or EL game and that's our defender, you know that's a penalty to the opposition all day long.

I don't think the boy meant it BTW; but it's still a foul and dangerous play.

2 tackles already this season that have gone unpunished and forced him off immediately..

How did he do his abductor as well? Can't mind if it was no challenge or even what game now..

The fact he says Christie's was just more of a shout as well is hilarious in itself..

Christie was booted in the ribs zero contact on the ball :56:

    Any news on the injury?

Looked bad but hopefully it’s similar to when we all thought Christie had a bad yin but came back like a week later.

Don’t think the guy had any intention of hurting Edouard but it was dangerous play and a stonewall penalty.

    It’s a still image :56:

He got there first and cleared it. Never a pen in a million years when you take the green tinted specs off.

He can’t just leave it for us to score a tap in.

The whistle should've went the second Kerr volleyed Christie in the ribs whilst trying to head it in, but then I suppose he couldn't just leave it for Christie to nod home eh?

The fact that it would have been a tap in is totally inconsequential.

He's caught him with a straight leg and anywhere else on the pitch it's a clear foul.

Brendan said that it was studs into the top of his foot and hopefully it will just be some swelling and then he'll be ok.
