The titles and theme tune for the popular comedy Still Game have been revamped ahead of the launch of a new series.
The programme will be back on BBC One next month after a nine-year break.
The new titles show the main characters Jack and Victor, played by Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill, from the 1960s, 70s and 80s to the present day.
The BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra have also made a new recording of the iconic title music.

Hope it lives up to it next month

    Yeah, it should be good!

I was originally unsuccessful when I applied, but two spaces became available and got the text on Tuesday.

I'd be surprised if it was as good as some of the original episodes but that is purely for nostalgia reasons, I suppose.

Really looking forward to it being back. About time.

That's my only fear - that it isn't as good as it was and because they've been away from it for so long, the writing may have weakened.

The live show wasn't great I don't think but performing live in that sort of environment it is different, I suppose.

I'll still enjoy it no doubt. Will always get the folk who really dissect it though:56:

The live show they done years ago was good when it was just Jack, Victor and Winston. That new one was pish although folk who went to it said it was good.

I really enjoyed the live show. Maybe being there and seeing them for the first time in so long clouded my judgement though.

Can't wait for this though. Even if it isn't as great, I still think it'll be good.

New intro looks weird, wonder how it will translate into HD, the make-up etc will need to be a lot better to pull off in HD.

Live show appears to split opinion, as this thread shows. I went to it and didn't find it that funny.

Thought it was quite stupid and cringey tbh.

Aye it depends if you are into theatre shows I think. Same with that Celtic Musical, I went last week and tbh didnt really like it, the history you know already, the songs were quite *, the patter not up to much but people were raving about it as if it was brilliant.

You probably just need to be into that kind of thing.

Mrs Browns boys is the same, I dont like it at all but others do and thats basically a theatre show recorded for TV. The actings a wee bit too over the top cause they need to as the audience is live and need to involve them.
