    Neil Lennon has left Hibernian.

It is unclear if he has been sacked or quit the Scottish Premiership club.

Hibs are currently eighth in the table.

    More as we get it.

Mirror saying he's gone. BBC saying he won't be in the dugout v St Mirren.

Get him back into a coaching role back here. Do no harm.

Neil Lennon has been SUSPENDED from manager’s post at Hibs

The Easter Road side - who enjoyed a stunning top-flight return last season - are eighth in the Scottish Premiership after a dismal run of results

NEIL LENNON has been SUSPENDED by Hibs.

SunSport understands the Celtic legend won't be in the dugout for Sunday's Scottish Premiership clash with St Mirren.

It comes after showdown talks earlier today with Easter Road chiefs.

Large chunk of bad luck it has to be said plus if you look at the job he has done overall he’s worked wonders at Hibs.

Having a bad season but both he and Hibs need to ride it out and see how next season goes.

I am not sure about that, I would imagine top 6 is the bare minimum for Hibs. He has had a terrible season there, I think the Kamberi thing was a sign of him losing it.
It has been a mixed bag there for him overall. The whole team has flattered to deceive under him.

NEIL LENNON is sensationally on the way out of Hibs after being SUSPENDED by chief executive Leeann Dempster.

SunSport understands his two-and-half-year reign as boss looks to be over following a dramatic exchange with Dempster in the immediate aftermath of a full and frank exchange with his first-team squad at the East Mains training squad.

The 47-year-old let rip at his players, making it clear there had to be immediate improvement starting with Sunday’s game against rock bottom St Mirren.

But it’s understood soon after the squad summit, Dempster dramatically got involved and Lennon was told he was to step aside pending the results of a club probe.

No2 Garry Parker and the rest of the backroom staff are believed to be furious with the shock action against Lennon and 100-per-cent supportive of the Northern Irishman.
