Discuss Neil Lennon in the Celtic Chat area at TalkCeltic.net.
Every manager signs a lot of dross and conisidering the market we work in I think Lenny done a * of a job.
There aint no 10m pound players playing for us at the moment.
I don't want him anywhere near Celtic and the fact the guy is hanging about like a bad smell after relegating Bolton and being sacked sticks in my throat.
We need to move forward, he is not the answer.
Forster, Wanyama, Van Dijk
Took everyone of them from raw youngsters and turned them into men.
Ledley, Matthews, Hooper too, to name a few.
Lenny made players run through brick walls for him.
I don't want him back either but Bolton were always gonna go down no matter who was in charge with all the field uncertanties and issues. Can't really criticise him for that.
We need a manager who has won league titles. Oh wait.
We need a manager who has experience in the CL. Oh wait.
We need someone who understands the importance of success at this club.
Hanging round? Was Judas hanging around looking for the job as well:smiley-laughing002:
I know it's irrelevant to us as fans, but I'd be worried about more bullets in the post and attacks on Lennon, if he came back.
He made the decision to join them knowing their plight.
Spare me your nonsense mate.
It's my opinion, forget anything else. I don't want him back.
Has Judas been in the studio every Celtic game since being made unemployed?
Has Judas been giving pre match interviews and giving his opinion on Celtic to anyone that will listen?
Ticks all the boxes for me. Think he would want some assurances from the board before coming back which is obviously no bad thing. We need a manager that will pressurise lawwell and not another yes man.
I don't want him back. I don't think he'd be a bad appointment, but it doesn't excite me. I like us to explore pastures new.
And like Paul, that's a personal preference.
Eh? Bad smell? Lenny is a legend in my book

Yeah, that still doesn't make it his fault they got relegated or really reflect on him negatively as a manager.
Does Neil Lennon dictate to SKY when he appears? Should he refuse the work in case his stink annoys some Celtic fans?
It's a phrase.
I love Lenny as much as anyone but his touting of his services is bad. Very bad.
Yes it does. He was desperate after failing to get a job down South and made a wrong decision. It reflects negatively on him 100%.
Funnily enough aye he does dictate which work he signs up for
The ironic thing about the Lennon situation is that he's pretty much exactly what the board were looking for in Deila.
1. Plays attacking football and puts bums on seats? Check
2. Sings young up and coming talent, makes them better and increases their resale value hugely? Check
3. Is able to to take us to the CL group stages consistently and even compete with some huge names while there? Check
was this confirmed or just speculation?
I asked if he dictated to sky not if he choose what invitations to accept. Do you believe SKY have given him an invitation to pick and choose which games he wants to be a pundit on?
I posted it at the same time, think I've got lightning fingers?
None of those points really matter. The fact is they all had bad form and other players deserved a chance or they just deserved to be brought back down to earth and dropped. There's no arguing Common's goal record is fantastic, but he went a whole season scoring 1 goal. Samaras was * far too often. Stokes wasn't in the old firm's or Europe because he wasn't good enough.
