Yeh I agree. Commentating for the UFC is almost a side project for him. He’d be fine without it and I can’t see him condoning something that would put Gustafsson in danger.

 

Rogan suggested in his Joey Diaz podcast that testing is constantly getting better, its not out the realm of possibility that it does stay in you system longer and the parameters able to be detected are changing.

However it’s also possible he’s done it again.

 

So what about all the other athletes with exstensive history of PED usage not facing the same dilemma?

Jones passed 8 tests then failed on the 9th apparently so I don’t see it as a advancement on technology in that short a time frame.

And yet again Tbol is completelty pointless to someone like JJ it has a very low anabolic strength rating almost half of testosterone so it isn’t a steroid suited for building mass or gaining strength, it’s mostly used in cutting cycles and then it needs to be a fairly high dose.

If he was taking stuff it’s more than likely he was taking more than just tbol and he was stacking with that.

If he was wanting to cut weight and retain muscle and not go into a catabolic state then clenbuterol would have been more than enough.

Or even just using testosterone propionate would be better.

I can’t think of why any MMA athlete would use oral steroids either, far too easily detectable than injections

Listening to the Rogan/Novitzky podcast just now. I think a huge thing is Richard McLaren saying that from the evidence he had lead him to conclude that there's no sign of Jones intentionally cheating or having any sort of enhancement of performance.

This is a guy who has zero ties to anyone involved and is respected worldwide, he was involved with the investigation of the Russian Olympic team if you've seen 'Icarus'.

A positive drug test doesn't mean cheat. People need to start giving us more evidence on how he is a cheat because there's a lot more evidence saying he isn't I'm afraid.

I'm looking forward to Chad Mendes vs Volkanovski that is a cracker of a fight. I want Cyborg to knock Nunes out cold, I think it might be a close fight, either late stoppage win for Cyborg or a very close decision win, Nunes has a chance of the upset though. Jones vs Gustafsson I think Jones will win by KO early to mid rounds.
