Apparently there was people high up in the UFC offices hoping Woodley lost at the weekend and he’s not liked at all. We knew Dana doesn’t like him. Don’t understand where that hate comes from.

He’s fought 6 times in 4 years, they need to milk their Champions.

He is also boring in many fights, can’t be labelled at him for the Till fight but Maia and Wonderboy he had set gameplans to win that meant lacking aggression and forward movement.

The worlds against me attitude is tiring, no * wants to listen to it!

After the finish summed him up for me, no reaction or nothing, wasn't even like a cocky walk in the park "Next!" or anything. Flat as *. Bit of emotion on getting his black belt, but other than that it was as if he had just finished a job list in a menial 9-5 job - Not winning/retaining a world title.

Shame as he is an absolute beast! Doesn't help that the UFC don't seem mad for him, but he could defs do things to improve his marketability.

There’s a massive difference between being a boring fighter and having a game plan.

Woodley isn’t boring. He takes people’s heads off. He had 2 boring fights. He knows if he loses that belt he’s never fighting for it again.

The UFC don’t promote him, so why should he?

They're wrong but for me he's the best pound for pound fighter currently, his record is * ridiculous. He doesn't just beat his opponents he completely nullifies them and renders them completely useless.

Imagine going into work and your boss wanting you to fail the whole situation is * ridiculous.

See because so many people are starting to turn and cheer for Woodley, it makes me think this was the plan all along. Dana plays the bad guy so people support Woodley, making him a star and setting up a super fight.

    But Dana isn’t that smart.

He isn’t even close to being the best P4P nor is his record ‘* ridiculous’.

And anyone, including himself, that suggests he’s the greatest ever welterweight is a casual fan.

    Lol.

He’s in the conversation. Anyone who says he isn’t clearly just doesn’t like Woodley.

A close second to GSP for me just now for WW GOAT.

Defo think he could become the GOAT though, looks in phenomenal shape and seems absolutely rabid to keep winning.

If they fight now I think Woodley beats GSP.

And he’s definitely one of the top P4P active fighters just now. To suggest otherwise is just plain daft. If anything that makes you look like a casual.

Darren Till? A draw against Wonderboy? Defeats off Rory, Jake Shields and Nate * Marquardt?

Don’t dislike him, just dealing in facts.

Cormier, Mighty Mouse, Dillashaw, Conor or even Holloway or Khabib.

Woodley is 36 and a win over Darren Till is what has seemed to propel him into being the greatest WW. Very good.

He beat Womderboy the Sercond time round, every fighter you have listed has been beat apart from Khabib and DC (I don't consider his loses to juicehead legit) so what's your point.

I'd say he's fought tougher opponents than the majority of fighters you listed as well.

Also he was one of the best before he beat Till nullifying an amazing striker to landing virtually nothing has just cemented him and made more people aware of just how great he is

Making yourself sound like a casual if you think losing to Jake Shields and Nate Marquardt 5 years ago rules you out of being considered one of the best welterweights ever. Two top contenders in their day. Never mind Rory MacDonald, an absolute monster.

I’m not sure what facts you’re dealing in. There are no facts, it’s all your opinion, it’s just not a very good one.

For me, GSP is still the best welterweight ever. But Woodley has to be mentioned, he keeps defending at a time when welterweight is stacked and the boss doesn’t even want him to be the champion. There’s no rematch when he loses, that’s it. That’s pressure nobody’s dealt with in that division. He keeps coming in with a game plan and executes it.

Steroids don’t allow you to set up and execute a perfect head kick I’m afraid.

My point is he doesn’t even scratch the surface of GSP in terms of achievements and 1 look at either record confirms that.

Marquardt beat Woodley then went on and won 3 fights from his next 12. He wasn’t a top contender when he fought Woodley, by any stretch. In fact he could be classed as a journeyman.

GSP is a greater champion than Woodley, fact.
