    This should have been set at 75 pence minimum.

    Never knew it was that soon, got a bottle of bucky yesterday and it was only £6 thought that was cheap dont think ive had one for £6 in 10 year but now I realise they probably cut the price a bit to try and sell loads before the prices go up lol

    Yes, I do. Call me a selfish * but if it helps reduce the amount of kids whose teeth are rotted by the time they are 12 while also helping reduce the amount of obesity then it should have happened earlier.

    They should add a tablet tax and an internet tax. Thats whats causing obesity in kids. Rip the lot off them and suddenly the we shites are out playing. My we niece wouldnt go out n play with her pals. I told ma sister to turn the wifi off and watch her go out. Not even 1 hour and shes out playing.

    It’s a great idea in principle if everyone can afford to eat well, but that’s not the case. If the government is serious about tackling health issues, it should regulate the food and drink industry itself more strictly.

    * knows, that’s too serious a question.

    I thought this chat was headed in the direction of forming a Flying Column for some cross border booze runs.

    The Scandinavians have a sugar tax, cost about 12 quid for a box of celebrations.
