The Commuter is a role that "leaves Town" each Night, thus making them ineligible to be targeted by Night actions. By extension, they cannot use any other Night actions they may have.

Because they cannot use Night actions, almost all Commuters are pro-Town.

It is worth noting that because in flavor it physically leaves the game for the Night instead of being protected somewhere in Town, Commuter is considered the ultimate in Untargetability, trumping even things like Strongman.

Most Commuters cannot Commute each Night. Instead, they generally have Odd-Night or Even-Night modifiers attached.

Alternatively, they may be X-Shot and need to choose if they want to Commute each Night.

A Commuter is considered Normal on mafiascum.net. If a Commuter is commuting, it is untargettable that night by any means, not even Strongman, Roleblocker or Ninja. Any role that attempts to target a commuting Commuter should be treated as though they are blocked (e.g. receive a "No Result" pm if they are investigative).

Commuter blends all the strongest aspects of Bulletproof and Ascetic. It is futile to target them at all while they commute. However, the only roles that may be helpful if they targeted the Commuter are investigative, so in all other cases, Commuter is strong and difficult to use improperly.

Commuter is not an implausible scum fakeclaim, as it explains immunity to kills and (occasionally) blocked actions. If you are an X-Shot Commuter, keep this in mind.

Day 6 ​

Numbers were short, the town hadn’t really managed to enjoy there halloween resort and tensions were high between Odwc and Jc, “I’m just sick of your * grim kangaroo testy’s breath, its nowt personal you just * kangeroos and I don’t like that” Jc said to Odwc, “* up JC Wankon” odwc replied. Marie and Scotia sat in the corner guessing what peoples jobs would be, “I reckon Cena is a professional horse sperm collecter” Marie remarked, “HashtagstandwithsoldierX” Scotia replied, Marie walked off confused. Anyhow Odwc and Jc began having a fight and all * broke loose, Obaf saw the fight from miles off and saw Odwc come sly a cheeky wet * in Jc’s ear, enough to drive any sane man over the edge and that’s too far, Dazza flew in with a RKO and dropped Odwc, summer then found some rope which was very convenient considering they where in the middle of the road with a tree just next to them, Obaf kicked Odwc in the balls and they dragged Odwc to the tree with the rope around his neck, as they lyncned him and walked off high fiving each other apart from Cena who was too busy talking to Dr Dre about releasing a rap album called “Straight outa govan”.

..... The rope tied around the tree hanging odwc snapped and he fell to the floor alive, “You * *” he shouted and he pulled a salmon out of his socks and slapped Scotia over the head with it… Odwc survived the lynching.

Night 6​

Odwc was still scratching his neck following on from being hun, “* bead rattling *” he mumbled to himself. The rest of the town were preparing for the next kill, they knew by now that it was probably best to stick together and see if they could work out who the killers were so they decided to all split up and go to the Halloween theme park for a fun filled day! Marie and Scotia ran off onto the Haunted Heroin ride which fired used heroin needles at you for 15 min, poor choice guys, meanwhile JC and Odwc went off together (Holding hands) into the local Han Summers which was a ann summers shop but with Han Solo’s face on all the stuff you can buy, Summer, Dazza and Obaf all went off into the local bookies were randomly they that robo cop was on TV, so that left Cena on his own and he went onto the Smelly Smoochy * ride which just flings * at you basically as you ride. Cena strapped himself in the ride and noticed he was the only one on it, which was funny he thought most people would enjoy having * flung at them, anyhow the ride went off and he had one whole go round and * was all over him and he stunk like a typical Smeltic fan, as he sat waiting to have another go, someone in a black cloak sat behind him a ghoulish looking fella with no face and long nails, Cena didn’t really care who was who at this point he just wanted more * flung at him and the ride went off. As they reached the 200ft mark Cena noticed that some how the person was sat next to him and not behind him, “What the *, no, its not you is it” and at that the man ripped Cenas safety belt off and Cena went flying off into the * shooter were he fell down the tube and into the * pit which was full of *, Cena died drowning in *…
