Only pre-season game i've seen was against Airtricity XI and he wasn't playing. I know it's early to form an opinion but just wondering what first impressions on him are?

I think he's done well so far, left the back exposed once or twice against Inter but i reckon once he's settled he'll be commanding the back line, very vocal, just what we've being looking for imo.

Was good at Forest apart from during his last season. Looks a good foil for wither Maj or Mulgrew so I'm glad he's with us now

He's been a tremendous signing as of late, been really impressive! Lets hope that he continues to play in this form throughout the season.

Played one match against Hibs and looked pretty good. They aren't the biggest of tests though to be fair.

But it is the average level of the clubs we are going to be playing against except Rangers and maybe Hearts. Mind they signed O'Connor and Sproule aswell.

I didn't know much about him, but I like what I see so far.

Does look to get caught with the ball through the middle a wee bit too often, but that will hopefully come - once he gets used to playing with a steady partner (hopefully Mulgrew, or a new signing).

Best CB at the Club easily.

wasn't the best against inter but we won't be playing against teams like that this season, even in the Europa league and I'm sure he will become stronger as the season goes on

If it wasn't for him we wouldn't lost a goal to hibs and probably went down to 10 men
