[Link] Kelvin Wilson to Forest

£2.5million is quite poor for him but theres nothing we can really do since Nottingham Forest cant afford the £4million or £4.5million that we'd ideally have wanted.

Hopefully we have a wee clause in there that if they get promoted we get an extra few quid, maybe even £1million if they win the League.

I really hope there's a clause in the transfer giving us the option to re-buy him for £2.5m if he sorts out his family problems.

 

usually the first person to announce the transfer is fawaz al hasawi on twitter and alot of the time thats late on in the day (if the player passes the medical).

Time to move on and keep improving. He was great last season but I still think we can do better.

 

In what way would buying him again be a bad move? He's the best centre back we've had since Mjallby and Balde. £2.5m is unbelievable value.

 

He is but we can still do better. Plus if we did buy him back it would be what, another year or two down the line? I'd like to think by that time we already have two solid centre backs.

Buying him back wouldn't exactly be a bad move but it wouldn't be showing ambition really would it? I wouldn't say it's unbelievable value to be fair, he was utter dross the season before. While I agree he was one of our best players last season, I'd need to see him do it again.

 

i was wrong about him being married to morgans sister it was infact leon best who has a kid with morgans sister.

Forest seem to be signing as many ppl as possible. I've heard that we've offered blackstock as part of the deal. If that is the case then you'll be gaining a superb professional. The hardest working player I can remember us having but he's had a bit of a dry patch in front of goal so maybe a fresh start will do him good.

 

£2.5m + whole host of add ons I would imagine.

There's not a chance we'd accept Blackstock as part of the deal. Only 6 goals last season and none since December ffs.
