    Anyway
So it was 48 hours after they had been declared as suspects not after the bairn disappeared.

Aye, thought I wrote that but obviously forgot. It does say the Portuguese police agreed to it but it was obviously influenced by the British side of things.

I'm oy going with actual evidence provided by the investigation by Portuguese police.

What are people that think they're innocent going on ? The fact they've not been charged ? What evidence supports the theory she was abducted ?

At the end of the day we all want the same thing. Whoever is respeonsible for whatever happened to her to be brought to justice.

I'm not going on nothing other than the fact they've not being charged with anything to do with the disappearance!! Innocent till PROVEN guilty.......they're effectively sitting under a not proven cloud which last time i thought of this was a * system. You're innocent till you're PROVEN GUILTY.

What you've said there isn't the evidence, it just adds onto the suspicion.
Are you saying the fact they haven't been prosecuted suggests they're innocent? That above all suggests that there's people higher up covering for them, which there almost certainly is.

Fair enough but if you ever do I guarantee you'll come to the same conclusion as me.
Yeah I've done quite a lot of reading on it the past few years. Although i had always thought there was something odd about them.

Do you think if it was left to the Portuguese authorities they would have been back in England a few weeks after her dissappearance ?

Yeah, but we're having a debate about our opinions based on what we've learned so far.

Plus there are reports of cadaver dogs finding evidence both within the apartment and the McCann's hire car. That goes against the McCanns' story, which, if nothing else, suggests they are not telling the full truth.

Obviously I don't know exactly but if I were to guess I'd say that there was an accident in the apartment while those two were out which led to her death. Portuguese detective Goncalo Amaral thinks she woke up in the middle of the night, fell off the couch and cracked her head which would explain the cadaver, i'd be inclined to agree. The parents then discovered her dead and then called in all their favours to help them cover it up.

I used to find the theory about the McCanns being predators a bit far fetched but now I wouldn't write that off either.

The only thing I'm sure of is that those two * are hiding something and are guilty of more than just negligence.

The McCanns went to the tapas bar at around 8.30 pm, do you think Maddie was alive or dead at that point ?

I'd lean towards alive but really have no idea.

They went to the bar at 8.30pm and the alarm was raised at 10 pm, so if you think she was alive when they left then that would point towards a 90 min window in which something happened to Maddie, would you agree with that ?

So are you saying that Maddie had an accident and either Kate or Gerry (or one of their friends) found her and disposed of her body then returned to the bar ?
