Thats a very narrow minded point of view. There isnt anything to suggest he isnt ready to go. Look at Bayo, how long has it taken him to settle/get fit? Kouassi? Theres no guarantee when buying players.

The guy is tipped as the best prospect to have come out of Ecuador in some time and had rave reviews about his performances at the recent youth world cup.

We were willing to try and renegotiate a deal for Turnbull who had an injury requiring surgery, in order to secure him now, so why wouldnt we move for this guy?

If he is within our budget and is interested in playing for us and we dont move for him, then we have missed out.

He fits our signing policy and on paper is a similar signing to Van Dijk, Wanyama, Dembele, Edouard, Ntcham. All youth internationals with potential and the potential to be sold down the line for big profit.

Big teams were already interested in Dembele and we signed him straight from Fulham. This could be a similar scenario.

In the interests of fair competition, i dont think City should be allowed to continue to sign up so many youth players and loan them out. I think it should be capped.

I'd take him but I'd prefer our focus was on signing a RB and another CB. As you've pointed out, Bayo and Kouassi are two examples of it taking several months for players to settle. At this point in time, we need to bring in players who improve our starting 11 from the off.

We have the later stages of champions league qualification to contend with as well as a relatively difficult start to the domestic campaign. Hence the need to bring in quality players who are ready to go!

FIFA are trying to bring that in for next summer, the proposal at the moment is that clubs would be limited to just 6 players out on loan at any one time.

Is he actually? He writes so much about the lower leagues in England, I just assumed he was English and from down there

Whilst i agree, we should still look to secure exciting young prospects who are available within our budget! We also need to replace the depth we lost with all the departures at the end of the season.

Yes we should be looking to buy a quality right back and probably another centre back too but that doesnt mean that we should pass up on other young attainable talent. Who knows how good the guy could be, all the players i mentioned previously were bought at a young age and were mainstays in the team after only a short amount of time.

I think we will have to move now or risk losing him to city but i think the move has always really depended on Ntcham and where his future lies
