    Made himself pivotal in most of our attacking play today. Looks very much the player we signed from the sheep. Good honest hard working player that is a bit of a throwback these days. Well done Jonathon son, we love ye, ya Durty Dub.:grntongue

    When he was coming off the pitch today you could see how much his team mates respect him. All clapped him off and he deserves it.

    Dunno why but a lot of Celtic fans haven't taken to Hayes, he's never really had a bad game for us and was outstanding the day. Gutted for him when he went off.

    I think that he lacked self-confidence. Too often, I have seen him play a backward pass to a more established Celtic player, rather than playing his own game.

    For the first time, he looked like he belonged out there, today (although he has put in decent shifts before).

    How can you blame Celtic supporters for failing to take to a player who has been absent or ineffectual for the vast majority of his Celtic career?

    Dont know if thats true mate ,i think he wants it so bad that it has become almost a ball and chain around his ankle ,its held him back and he struggled to show wot he has ,he is coming throuh that now and is starting to feel part of it .

    Fair enough mate. Personally I think a couple of dodgy results and he will instantly become the whipping boy for some *. That's for another day but.

    His desire and performance today was brilliant and he will never( and has never)given less than 100%.

    That's a given mate ,and you are correct he gives his all when selected ,A while back thats all that was required from celtic players to become a fan favourite.

    He was actually playing well and pushing for first xi when he broke his leg. Fans seemed to write him off as a waste because of that. I think for £1.5m he was a good price, versatile and decent. Sinclair has deserved to be dropped and I'm glad Hayes is showing why he should be there. Wish we had brought him in 5 years ago.
