    Unbelievable

The manager just singled home out. Watch the Griffiths and Edward sitters again!

Did you like his goal and both assists for the striker sitters?

Can't even mind the Griff sitter now..

The Eddy one was an easy ball at the end against a pish Accies side out on their feet after playing for an hour or whatever with 10 men. Settle..

He was effective on the ball I thought, just never got on the ball a lot.

Seemed most of our play went through Ajer > McGregor > Taylor the whole game even near the end it was then Ajer > Hayes > McGregor > Christie.

When Forrest was on the ball he did * a few good balls in and also played in Eddy and Griffiths at the edge a few times.

I think Welsh hampered him a bit as he never went up the wing and most of the time he passed the ball back to Jullien who then went to Ajer. So Forrest wasn't allowed into the game a lot. Obviously nothing to do with Welsh a defender on his debut wouldn't want to get caught out but his lack of wee runs further up like Ajer did on the other side never really allowed for Forrest to go higher up or even Ntcham to go more into the middle.

A really frustrating player to watch at times, capable of brilliance but also goes missing in games, thought he was really poor in the build up to their goal.

Never ever has a winger been held to the standards and expectations this boy is. Victim of his own success.

What do people expect a winger playing RWB to do so consistently beyond that today?

His general play can be better but he was dangerous today. Undeniably.

I cant believe some of the stuff so called Celtic fans think of james forrest , his stats dont lie , he is a great player for us and we are lucky to witness this dominance and a player like him wanting to stay and play for u and me , its horrible seeing Celtic weblog , and reading useless ,fruad , really angers me that this * even gets written and tagged with celtic as though we all feel this way , * these news feeds and blogs , it's not true feelings of our fans .

He seems to go off the boil for weeks at a time, but his form and scoring ability over the last 2-3 years has been breathtaking.

That would be the volley, open goal, how did Griff miss that, had so much room too.
Thing about Forrest, he does frustrate people, can go most of the game achieving nothing, but he always seems to stick at it and then, either scores or sets up others.
Would I be correct in saying that the majority of his goals/assists come towards the end of games?
Do reckon that if both Jerry and ElHam were fit, we could manage his game time. Right now, we have little or no options right sided attack wise.

Exactly this. He's actually playing as an attacking defender, creating plenty opportunities and scoring and folk are still having a go! Embarrassing comments and proves they just don't like James Forrest and never will no matter what he does on the pitch. It's difficult to understand and comprehend as he's been immense for the last 3 or 4 seasons domestically and in Europe. He's a great team player and works his * off when played further forward as well unlike other so called flare players we've had wear the hoops!

Yesterday justifies what I've been suggesting completely where he's one of our top players and still receives abuse.

Main thing is, the manager loves his ability and thankfully he picks the team and not the fans!

Would Frimpong or El Hamed receive the same drivel if they didn't constantly score and create chances from RWB? That's the question and I like both those players!

El Hamed playing behind Forrest is by far our best option as was Lustig but we're blessed to have Forrest who can get up and down the pitch all game. Imagine he got injured? I reckon we'd be in a bit of trouble!

That was hardly a sitter. A volley, on his weaker foot and the way the wall came down to him.

Should have done better but it was by no means a sitter.

Had another poor game I thought but still ended up playing a big part in the goal that finished the game.

Hopefully give him a wee rest vs Clyde.
