AS an Englishman , albeit one of Scottish & Irish descent may I take this opportunity to apologise on the behalf of Anglo Saxons everywhere for believing that international football should be played by players who are actually from the country they are from.
We can't help ourselves having this imperialist views it's inbred you see.

I notice on another thread we killed Che Guevera too, so I'd like to apologise for that too, and also for the referee who sent off Scott Brown last week, who while he wasn't English, has probably visited England at some time in his life and picked up his hatred of all things Celtic from us.

I'd also like to apologise for Piers Morgan.

    No, really I would!

Played 5 a side against him a few times in Hitchin up until a couple of years ago.
He's a friend of a friend and came along on a Thursday night from time to time, probably until Arsenal told him to pack it in.

Two things: you quickly realise why some lads make it as a pro, first touch and vision was different class.

And seemed like a good lad to be fair, chatted away to him in the car park many a night waiting to get into the pitch.

I for one do not accept your apology.

I will never forgive Piers Morgan.

I'm not quite sure why I looked it up, but according to Wikipedia, Piers Morgans old man was a bloke by the name of Eamon Vincent O'Meara:celt_2:

Indeed. Morgan changed his own name from Piers O'Meara.

Posts like those have nothing at all to with this thread and numerous warnings have been given. By all means carry on doing so and you may also be looking at a holiday.

He's right though. English people should play for England, Spanish for Spain, Italian for Italy and so on. Don't get what the big deal is about his comments.
