NL on Ismaila Soro: "I think a deal's been agreed. We're just waiting on the paperwork being done now, so hopefully that can be resolved over the next few days."

NL on Ismaila Soro: "He's a good player. He's strong and technically very good, quick across the ground and hungry. We've done a lot of work on him and Klimala. It's good to get some fresh faces in the building."

After the first one I was thinking to myself "it's over and done with, it's over and done with"

    I was wrong

Looks like a cracking player in his YT clips. Wins the ball, direct, and turns defence into attack very quickly, which would be nice...

Lenny saying he is like a little bull in the middle of the park, great at game reading, tenacious and good at starting our attacks and very good at breaking attacks from the opposition.

NEIL LENNON branded £2million Celtic new boy Ismaila Soro a BULL.

And the Hoops boss promised more signings will follow the Ivorian and £3.5m hitman Patryk Klimala into Parkhead.

Soro is awaiting a work permit to seal a move from Bnei Yehuda — but Lenny wants another two “quality” additions.

He said: “Soro is agreed and we are just waiting on the paperwork being confirmed. He is a little bull. He is strong, technically very good and quick across the ground, too.

At 21, Soro has room for improvement but from what we’ve seen he looks a very good player.

“We’re looking to bring in one or two others as well.

What we want to do is just add a few more, just to give the squad a little bit more depth and give us some more quality as well.

“Can it make the difference in the second half of the season? Sometimes, yes, if you get the right ones in.

I don’t think we’ve been weakened so far by players going out. It does give you room for a little bit more manoeuvre in terms of wages.

“We don’t want a glut of players coming in, either, but maybe three or four to come in and tighten us up a little bit. Soro has been playing at a good level, he’s robust and he plays all the games.

“He doesn’t play for a top club but his numbers are good and we like what we’ve seen.

“He reads the game well. He’s 21, but he plays like a man and he will add that extra bit of edge.”

Lennon said he will play a few games between now and the end of the season.

I’d hope it’s a lot more than a few given how weak and devoid of ideas our midfield looks at the minute.
