Aye I'm sure that's why we trialled it tonight. Should be some different personnel though..

Boli and Ajer I’d say would be the only changes.

We've had another season of constant injuries..

We've went to Dubai and instead of it being a break....we were doing double sessions when our player's were goosed before going out there..

Mikey and Elhamed were injured in Dubai. Ajer and Forrest weren't in the squad yesterday after coming back from Dubai and Bitton lasted 5 minutes before doing his hammy..

I'm no physio but whatever we're doing, we aren't doing it too well..

Aye we seem to pick up a disproportionate amount of injuries..

We may need to look at our medical setup.

    Frustrating.

Issue was that 'they' looked fitter than us on the 29th and have played around the same number of games, albeit we have been carrying far more injuries.

Our midfield was being over-ran at times even though we were 5 up against 3 when they had pressed forward. Totally unacceptable.

We definitely need to have a thorough look at the Sports Science and Physiology side of things, we can't just keep putting it down to bad luck. The proportion of muscle strains, tears and recurring injuries we get is mind-boggling.

Elhamed missed 4 games last season for Beer Sheva last season because of a head knock. He's already missed 14 so far for us because of injury...

Elyounoussi is another who has barely been out in the last few seasons (albeit not playing a lot of games) yet comes to us and has already missed months of the season.

It must come down to what are they doing in the training sessions and what kind of stretching exercises they are doing and looks like it's * up alot of players .

It’s been a problem here for years. Dembele is another example. He was forever getting little niggles with us. Went to Lyon and been injury free.

    Definitely a big concern.

Didn't realise he's not had any injuries whatsoever for Lyon in the 18 months since he's been there. That's a perfect illustration of how flawed our current set-up is.

    Some amount a * * constantly.

Whos all injured the now Ajer, Bitton, Elhamed, Forrest, Christie, Elyounoussi and Johnston?

Been like this for about 3 year as well. Always constanly about 5-7 of the first 18 out injured.

Correlation doesn't equal causation but * me, that's concerning.
Just shows how solid McGregor must be. * must be made of steel.

In fairness with Elyounoussi that cannot be blamed on us at all he got his injury while on international duty with Norway.

True enough but like Tierney he is still human and he cannot be expected to go on playing so many games for ever. We need to be able to give him a few more breaks.
