    Loanees - one with a big name in football in Robbie Keane and Weah (aye fair enough it’s cause his old boy)

    A winger/striker kinda hybrid that played in England with Burke and Kamara

    A relatively unkown striker with a good goalscoring record with Bayo and Rasmussen.

    And a fullback in on loan from a massive German club in Braafheid and Toljan (if it goes through)

    Won’t be in the summer mate.

    Weah, Lustig, Burke, Izzy, Boyata, Benkovic and possibly Toljan if he signs will all be away.

    We’ve done fantastic business for the rest of this season but seems shortsighted from the board. That’s not the point of this thread really though, just a thought I had.

    January 2010 we also got rid of McManus, Robson and McDonald which was * stupid.

    In summer 2010/11 we had Neil Lennon come in and take charge, who had a huge clear out and rebuilt a bloated squad...

    Wonder what will happen this summer - heard from @Blochairnbhoy Brendan's off :fear:

    We were all buzzing like * I remember going around my uni halls giving it big licks. That was at the time seen as the greatest window ever.

    This one we are downbeat about. I actually think this will turn out to be a hugely successful window for us because I think Bayo and Shved are two absolute players who will be stars here.

    I wouldn’t be against it if Brendan goes but I think steve Clarke will be the front runner I would like someone from left field like a David Wagner though but I do hope Brendan sees his contract out I just don’t see it from his language though

    I would take Clarke and Lennon over Wagner personally, but only because I think they would comfortably win the league with our resources and squad & both their styles can make us more solid in Europe - Lennon especially.

    I'm 50/50 on Rodgers future, my heart says he'll stay for the 10 but my head says he's fed up of the PLC spending policy and wants to move on.
