Discuss Horror Films in the TC Media area at TalkCeltic.net.
Im not that into horror types but did like Deliverence, Cabin in the Woods, Last House on the Left, Wolf Creek, the Hills have Eyes and Texas Chainsaw Massacre - I prefer those types to Ghost/zombie/monster types.
Never knew there was a Wolf Creek 2 until last month. Was worth a watch coz its the same mad * on the prowl
Got the DVD of Wolf Creek 2 about 2 years ago but still haven't watched it.
The first one is * up but the guy is hilarious.
Aye he's quality. Wont see that * in Home and Away :smiley-laughing002:
I just watched one called Society from 1989. Last 20 mins of it was quality :smiley-laughing002:
Stylish and ultra gory with a belter of an ending.
I can't watch them at all
Another decent one I watched was Triangle
The one with Melissa George, maybe more of a mindbending thriller than a horror ?
Or have i got the wrong movie
Efe Ambrose vs celtic is the only horror I've seen in the past 10 years
Watch the cabin in the woods. Thought it was going to be the run of the mill slasher movie but I was pleasantly suprised. The mist is another good one aswell directed by the same guy who wrote the Walking dead season 1 and there are a few actors from TWD in it aswell.
The People Under The Stairs
Aye the Mist is good.
Shat myself at numerous points.
Martyrs was something else- a real assault on the senses. That might sound dramatic but it really is.
Irreversible, another french film, is the same. not quite a horror, more like a nightmare.
The House by the cemetery
Dellamorte Dellamore (aka cemetery man)
Let Sleeping Corpses Lie (aka The living dead at the manchester morgue)
Opera (Dario Argento)
Exorcist III (Especially the nurse scene)
Long, very long time since somebody mentioned that flick. The ending was indeed class.
going to ave to watch this now. Definely seen it but cant mind it
Can honestly say iv never been bothered by any horror, even films like A Serbian film, Marytrs or Cannabal holocaust don't really bother me just see them as films and the actual Horror Genre has gone down hill massively but some of my favs and better horrors for me are;
Nightmare on Elm Street
The first two Halloweens
Friday the 13th
Evil Dead originals
Rosmarys Baby- Not that scary but a decent supernatural thriller and very erey none the less
The original Wicker man is again another erey film, not that scary in terms of jumps but a good horror none the less
And if your feeling really brave try 120 days of Sodom pretty weird film.
You call that horror? It's just a very * controversial movie.
