Canny blame the club if they’ve done everything to get a RB.

“These people who say he’s not an out and out right-back have probably never seen him play before.

“He started his career as a right-back and at times he’s played as a centre-half. When I watched him the last four or five games of last season he played right-back. He can play both positions very, very comfortably.”

Just going to leave this here anaw

If we don't sign a right back this window I'll be fuming man. Ralston cannot play for us again in my eyes.

Are you seriously suggesting that we DON'T need a RB?

    Just curious.

You might be happy with someone who "can" play as RB, Ajer can RB... KT can play RB... ffs Broony can play RB.

The rest of us actually want a RB.

    I'll just leave this here.

Sun: "Got Hatem and closing in on another RB" Asked if he was close to completing his squad ahead of the new season, "no where near"

Mon-Tues: "We'll discuss new signings on Wednesday (after Kalju), oh and that RB I mentioned has stalled"

Wed: "Looking to get one in by the weekend then 1-2 before the deadline 24 hrs before Cluj"

Fri: "Happy with the squad going into the start of the league campaign, oh and great news, we don't need anybody for Cluj either!"

    Utter pisstake at this point.

I love Lennon, I really do but the above shows he has once again become Lawwell’s yes man.

It’s funny cause that’s why he left the last time not being able to get quality that he needed.

Nope, just that we have already signed a right back and folk are pretending we haven’t so they can be hysterical.

We’ve signed a guy who used to be a right back and clearly wasn’t good enough in that position to get a cap for Israel.

He’s since moved to centre half and played the best football of his career and now has 1 cap for them. A 10 minute cameo coming on for Bitton.

Nobody is pretending anything. The reality is we haven’t seriously addressed the position, in the eyes of every fan without blinkers on. And if Elhamed is the clubs idea of properly addressing it then it’s a * disgrace.

    “Hysterical, panty wetter” etc etc

He looks a good physical player and clearly has pace and I hope he can make a contribution.

But when I say right back I want someone who is the right sided version of Tierney (not necessarily same level) but someone who is clearly a natural in that area. Elhamed can play there but I dont believe he was brought in to be 1st choice.

With Lennon intending to play 3ATB a lot Elhamed will have his own uses as well.

I dont think its that he is a yes man , i think he has looked at the path to the groups we have and maybe thinks we have enough to get to the groups and then if we get there we can sign better calibre of players for the positions needed. It is risky but if means a better calibre of player then may be good.

The international thing is weird, 2 of our best midfielders have barely managed to scrape Scotland caps under there belts in Christie and McGregor but it doesn’t mean they’re *.

It has by no means been properly addressed because we all know we needed two going into this window.

But people are pretending - we have signed one player that we consider a right back and none of us can judge him until we see evidence that he’s not.

Know something, I actually fear for the player. The crowd could get on his back early for wee silly mistakes and make him a scapegoat

I was saying that yesterday, * are already out for the poor * blood. He needs to hit the ground running at some speed.

I’ve got little hope in the fans noticing it’s not his fault that we haven’t got another RB in.

We here that sound bite every year and we when we do qualify for the CL we end up with the same type of signing.

I don't think that's true tbh, it's the fact he has no support in the role, he needs to hit the ground running, whilst adapting to everything that playing for Celtic brings as well as a new country and culture..

It's unfair on him, he should have another RB to share the burden.

That’s what he needs to do to hit the ground running. The fans will go for his throat first misplaced pass.

That’s not what he has said though, clearly if that was the case he would have came out and said that from the get go.
