Never been so indifferent to winning a cup.

I'm happy we won, but * me we were lucky. The goal was offside and we were 2nd best for about 80 minutes. Hoping the result doesn't mask the issues in that performance.

I know it's about winning and we'd all take a 1-0 win, but we were rank.

ended up watching the game at th tennants bar as thw jinty's didnt havew it on.
big shout out to Harry and Neil for a great company! It was a srarnge game to watch, almost like we've deliberately given them advantage and some fin, by playing a second choice team.
Fraser's performance was simply unreal and yet another incredible show from Frimpong! Nobody ever fancies closing him down as he's pace is just something else.

I personally think if it wasn't for the sending off we were gonna take the game to them when eddy came on.... The refs tried to kill the game by giving pen an red thank * for forster save and defence being solid

He booted Eddy in the legs/knee 2 seconds after he came on. That could have been a red for me.

We don't have a fit striker and I doubt hayes or frimpong were our first choice full backs for that game(even tho feonpong was excellent til his card). El hamed at RB and I would think taylor or Bolingoli at LB plus just one actual striker would have made a massive difference (starting with them I mean)

We were rotten for the most part, I don’t know how old you are or if you can remember us playing their previous club off the park and still losing?

Indifferent, maybe because we didn’t play to our highest standards?

This is a very important victory that is probably even more of a psychological blow to them because even when they were all over us they still couldn’t beat us.

I’ll take it all day long. If we can summon a Brazil 1970 type scintillating performance in the next game against Sevco then I will take that too.

I know mate, surely a quality striker is the priority in January. Especially with Griffiths being dropped.

We had a weakened team, played with 10 men for a large portion of the second half and were generally just awful all round excluding frimpong and Forster all the while rangers were at their best and had a penalty too and they still couldn't leave a mark on us, having said that we cant afford too put in a performance like that again and expect to get away with it, in the next game I want too see us batter them from pillar to post.

Yeah, I grew up in the 90s when Tommy Burns team would play them off the park n we still won next to * all. Swings n roundabouts.

Aye, indifferent cause we got outplayed and made them look like a good team.

Agree, it's a massive result and the result is what'll be remembered and spoke about.
