find it astonishing a team like celtic have 2 players who cant run ( lustig ) its incredible , he was a disaster waiting to happen last night , he was utterly * dreadful as expected , not one pass did he play forward , he wasnt the only one that had a stinker but the fact hes even an option at our club is ridiculous , hayes or KT from now on

You might want to take the green tinted specs off. He’s not even cut out for the SPFL defensively anymore and has been caught out numerous times recently. Barasic, Lowe and Shinnie are comfortably better in my opinion and I’d make an argument for Taylor at Killie and Tait at Motherwell too.

 

His legs just don't have it. You seen him trying to trail back, 2 attackers and our 3 defenders comfortably out sprinted him. Hes done. Hibs for him next year. Our retirement home for ex celts.

He was done when we let him go 2 years ago. Why the * would Brendan think he would be any better a second time around?

 

I'm still wincing at how bad he was..

That was right up there with the worst I've seen in a Celtic jersey in Europe..

He literally couldn't move. Was like a player doing his hamstring in the first 10 but staying on as we had no subs..

Lasted the full 90 as well..

Brendan brought him back and is seeing him in training. Subbed him at half time at Aberdeen. Left him out of the Huns game. Watched him getting ripped apart at Easter Road..

Mind blowing..

 

The amount of times he looked to the ground as he desperately tried to muster up the energy to jog was crazy. He's absolutely finished and should never play for us again.

 

Shinnie doesn’t even play left back, hasn’t for years.

 

It may not be his main position, but he does still play there from time to time.

Regardless, he would comfortably still do a better job than Emilio, which if anything emphasises my point.

Shinnie although it isn't his favoured position now, would be a bug upgrade on Izzy still..

I honestly didn't rate him for large parts of his Celtic career first time anyway..

Greg Taylor is also comfortably better. Quite a few in this league are....which tells the story..

 

Aye, none are better than Tierney though. Who we need to keep in mind, is actually our left back. Any player we get in will be a stepdown, when it comes to games of this magnitude, when it goes * up, that’ll get highlighted.

 

100% but when you've no legs you're completely handicapped and frankly useless against anyone of quality..

Guy's like Church should be given a shot the way Ralston was thrown in. They may get roasted but they've got decent pace and are all action with a view of having a genuine future here..

Playing Izzy is a stop gap whilst KT is out but it's a stop gap that's hurt us domestically and in Europe already..
