I hope he gets up to speed while he's here, he looks like a real talent. It's just very unfortunate what happened with his injury.

And none of them are dickheads.

Exactly how much Roman, Saxon, Jute, Viking, Norman, Spanish Armada and even English blood is polluting your Gaelo-Pictish purity?

Meanwhile, I hope Arzani gets over his injury.

Meanwhile Lennon delivered an injury update on Aussie winger Daniel Arzani.

The on loan Man City youngster hasn’t played since suffering a ACL tear on his debut last November.

But the 20-year-old will take part in a reserve game in the next stage of his road to recovery.

    He said: “Daniel’s nearly fit.

“He will get 40 minutes in that and needs match fitness before coming into the squad.”

Rumours that we are trying to extend his loan deal for another season. Whoever he is?

He is said to be keen and must be impressing

Well if true we do lose Sinclair and elyounoussi at the end of the season so replacement required especially as Mikey can't handle that pressure on his own.
However I just figured we kept the guy to appease man City as they have given us some decent value players such as Frimpong, Ntcham and Boyata with loans such as Denaya and Roberts

If we think he is good enough to keep another season I don't know why we just don't go buy him... If he gets played does well he will be out our reach just like Roberts get him now while lennon thinks he's got something and his stock is low to the outside world

If we extend then I hope he makes an impact, always happy to see quality players at the club.

I could see Morgan and Sinclair leaving in January and Shved going out on loan, so if we do extend Arzani's deal he could perhaps be Forrest's understudy.

He mostly plays on the left, seemingly.

Celtic are seeking to extend Daniel Arzani’s two-year loan deal for a further season, in a massive show of faith in the potential of the injury-hit Socceroos starlet

Yet to feature in the first team since tearing his ACL on debut against Dundee 13 months ago, the 2018 FIFA World Cup bolter is targeting the Boxing Day clash at St Mirren as his comeback match, after suffering a bout of patella tendonitis on his operated left knee.

Despite the 20-year-old attacker’s trials and tribulations since arriving at Parkhead 15 months ago, coach Neil Lennon has seen enough in training sessions and several fleeting reserve team outings to petition parent club Manchester City for a loan extension stretching to the end of the 2020-21 season.

Talks are not yet at an advanced stage - but it’s understood Arzani is keen to stay on to put the frustration behind him and show Hoops fans the full repertoire of his talent.

Arzani has been in moth-balls since returning to Glasgow from last month’s Olyroos training camp in Qatar, with physios working on a strengthening regime which will culminate in a return to running in the coming days.

Celtic - who lead the Scottish Premiership on goal difference from Rangers - face a hectic December schedule with six games in 16 days, climaxing with the Old Firm derby against Rangers at Celtic Park at the end of the month.

The match shapes as the most significant between the old enemies since the 2011-12 season when Rangers fell into insolvency and were dumped into Scottish football’s third tier.

Celtic, without Rangers nipping at their heels, went on to win the next seven league titles.

    Terrible decision by Celtic management.

They clearly don't realise Arzani is an Australian international, with a likelihood that he'll be called up for international duty. The result will be pages of posts moaning about how outrageous any given call-up is; heaven help us :D

An extension, at this point in time, is just stupid for all parties involved. At least wait until he makes a matchday squad.
