Wish our defenders wouldn't give him as much of the ball, we over do it with him.

As for not saving a shot, aye right.

Best piece of skill from a goalkeeper since Ronnie Simpson in Lisbon :57:

    His distribution is abysmal.

thats a two way street that thought, sometimes the passes are never on to go back or to the defender yet they still try it , sometimes it needs to go long or just out the park and regroup

defenders pass the ball back to him and on occasion they stand and watch and dont offer him an angle which leads to his madness

Agreed. Far too many occasions where the ball gets passed to him and the Defender doing the passing stops and stands still.

We know he's not a great kicker, so please... can our * Defenders start taking some responsibility for clearing the ball when it gets a bit ugly? Maybe they're too vain to do the 'lumping' themselves, or are they just scared that they'll get the same stick that CG gets when the ball goes astray (and it will - as some of the Defenders passing is atrocious!)?

That is the exact way Brendan Rodgers is wanting them to play.

Credit where it’s due, last night, not long after they scored there was a big moment in the game. He came out, he was brave, he smothered the ball and he took a * sore one doing it.

He took the responsibility on and it was a massive moment in the game, it goes to 1-1 at that stage I feel we would have crumbled. Aye, his kicking was * as we all know but he absolutely commanded that box and took so much pressure off of the CB’s by collecting every cross he could.

The chance they hit the bar I think he done everything he could to close the angles properly, leaving a more difficult chance for Kampl.

These are all things I want my keeper yo be doing, all accusations I’ve labled at Gordon in the past that he doesn’t do. Last night he stood up and was counted, done 99% of things right and he deserves his credit for that. Especially because I think I can be harsh on the guy.

A good, solid, settled partnership infront of him probably helps.

BR on Craig Gordon: “I don’t think he’ll be fit for Scotland. He did well to get through the Leipzig game with his knee and he has an injury to his hip as well. We’ll just have to assess him over the next few weeks.

Walked past a guy that mildly resembled him and I’m now in a bad mood.
