We should not feel inferior to them or any team , its not always about how much your team cost to assemble , if we look at our team atm , we could not buy most of these players now and the best ones are graduates of our youth system or scottish and want to be with our club ,We have a good set of guys and a great leader along with the best fans in the world ,We are built for nights like these and we need to go out and show we belong in the cl .

Think I mentioned it in the last valencia thread. Hope it's something special like this. We're due another night like this at parkhead. It's a big ask but I think they can do it.

    Hayes / Toljan

    Brown

Edouard & Weah off the bench at some point! Bitton to come on and steady the ship when we are 2-0 up

Been doing a wee bit of digging about this year, Valencia have only won 6 games in the league this season.... However only lost 4.

For me, the home leg is everything, if we can get a lead and a clean sheet at Paradise, there is no reason we can't finish the job off in Spain. Since the winter break, we are close to being back to our very best - despite the injuries. I think the key has been the introduction of Bain and Toljan. Bain's composure and range of accurate passing re-assures everyone in front. I can't wait to see KT and Toljan tearing up oppositions and I reckon it starts here on Thursday.

I would go with a 4-2-3-1 formation and use the pace of Sinky, Burke and Forrest to hurt them. I think BR will do everything to get KT back. It wouldn't surprise me if he plays. He knows that if he announces KT the crowd will go even more bananas. BR will want subs who can make an impact incase it doesn't go to plan.

    Bain
    Toljan, Boyata, Jozo, KT
    Broony, Calmac
    Forrest, Christie, Sinky
    Burke

Subs: Gordon, Ajer, Bitton, Hayes, Johnston, Weah & Eddy.

On another note - does anyone know of any plans for a massive Spanish Perty in Valencia? Been hunting high and low for more information on one, but so far - nada!

As long as the defence can stay settled and focused I'm confident we can take 1-0 lead.

I know that's not ideal given our away record but I'm confident we can get draw away from home.

This could be night were guys like Toljan, Burke and Weah become completely unattainable if they play out their skins. Hope they do anyway, we could do with a little run in Europe.

    Trebles are boring now.

Just a good performance over both legs, anything else is a bonus.

Valencia are just a name right now. We beat Leipzig who recently have a name for themselves even though I was dissapointed with them when seeing then play this year. No way this is out of reach

Forgot that Europa games kicked off at 8pm. Wee Brucey bonus of an extra 15 mins in the pub.
