He's the kind of player that could easily beat the Huns on his own.

Scored some big goals for us,Warsaw and Maribor away spring to mind, has to start in the semis.

It should work on paper but just now Commons is off the pace, so we either need to stick with him until he hits form again or give Roberts a chance who loves cutting inside and ghosting past players. With Commons on the right we need a much mobile RB like Janko so we are not one sided in terms of width. Hopefully it will all come together in next few games and we'll see how good this formation will do, last 2 games should of been cricket scores with the way we played.

Good point about Janko but Lustig is excellent going forward as well and Brown can cover for him.

Lustig even last season looked 10 times better than he has this season, how many times does he end up passing back or into the middle because he can't take a player 1 on 1, he's great with his overlapping runs but on the ball he's struggled and even worse off the ball trying to cover back at times.

Completely. The last few seasons I remember us subbing him off every game when he was fit. Since then he's been crocked loads and is now playing every game 90 minutes. The guy is * now. He used to be a great attacking threat for us but these days he can barely get up the line.

I feel sorry for him actually. The quicker Janko is back the better.

Once he's more well rested we'll see the best of him. 3 games a week playing 90 minutes... I'm sure he'll be playing through the pain barrier just now as well.

Aye good point. He was notoriously subbed because he lacked the 90 minute engine and his body couldn't handle it. Now he's playing 90 minute's continously and it absolutely has to be hampering him ..

    Brilliant today, especially first half.

He takes up great positions, he has a good first touch and he moves it quickly, more often than not finding a team mate with the pass.

    He can also score goals.

I actually think he could play regularly for us with the right formation. Right of a diamond I think he could thrive.

He links our play better than anyone else in our squad I think. He has a real knack for pass and move

    He's good.

Needs to make sure he stays in shape though. He's naturally fat, look at the Legia highlights - he was a wee round fat *. Ronny's diet has really helped him.

He ripped them apart for that disgraceful offside goal.

I've always rated him; never understood the flak he gets on here at times. He is actually one of the most consistent performers we have, for me. He's come up through the youth aswell, so gives more for the shirt.
Remember Ronnies first CL matches? McGregor pretty much made himself undroppable for those games. That's great for a young player. He's most certainly underrated.

Deffo deserves to be playing and the backing of everyone. :50::shamrock:

Was excited about him when he came back from Notts County, expected a lot. At first he showed why, then lost the way a bit and I began to doubt if he was good enough.

Showing what he is all about though. Tidy player on the ball, offers a goal threat and knows the club inside out. A good squad player to have but also good enough to give us something from the start if need be.

Aye, I could actually imagine him around here for most if not all of his career, at worst a very good squad player. He's a very consistent player too, hardly had a bad game the last 15 month or so, naturally good footballer.

Very fond of McGregor. When things aren't going well, he never hides. He always wants the ball, he passes and moves into space, and is a real goal threat.

    Really like his attitude.
