    If he can't show enough talent and effort in training, then he won't do it in a proper match. You don't just magically gain ability on a match day.

    Rotherham are a * team. Yes. And he failed to even make their match day squad 75% of the time. So what the * do you think that actually says about Scott Allan? If he was good enough he'd have been in their team.

    He had a good season in the Scottish Championship for Hibs. The same league that Waghorn and Tavernier looked like superstars in. It doesn't mean he is good enough to play for the best team in the country. Just like those two huns are being found out because they aren't playing against plumbers every second week.

    Scott Allan is 25 and is yet to play 100 league matches, both in Scotland and England. He's no longer a young prospect. It's about time you stopped pretending he's better than he actually is in reality.

    He couldn't play as a winger, he hated playing there as well. Good striker but needs a good player up next to him like Hooper, they were fantastic. As a lone striker he couldn't handle it.
    Forrest gives us pace and a direct attacking threat, they aren't even comparible positionally never mind type of players.

    You want Mulgrew back as well since he won was Poty for Lenny. Move on.

    As for Allan, he's not good enough and doesn't work hard enough.

    Stokes would've been better to have around than Cifcti.We should always have three decent strikers,but we only have two and they're both out.Luckily not at a time when we have European football to worry about.

    Stokes isn't a decent striker anymore, he never really was a striker anyways. Better just behind the striker, as he played with Hooper, or on the left
