I'm in two minds on this one, on the one hand I'm confident he will be back as the fans really took him to our hearts during his time with us and that adulation is something he may not experience anywhere else in his career. He will know that he will get better if he comes back to Paradise under Rodgers and the football we play is suited to his game. On the other hand he will also know that he has just created history by winning an invincible treble and may see that as being as good as it gets up here given we ain't gonna be winning the champs league anytime soon.

Guess it's gonna come down to whether he wants to being playing for titles and trophies in front of adoring fans or playing for mid table mediocrity and faint hopes of a cup win and a healthy wage.

Hope he makes the smart move!

OK i have confirmation bias on this one but trying to decode what Brendans take on the 3rd striker issue was...i.e. we cant keep a 3rd to quality striker happy- I was initally shocked at this statement- it seems to be be extremely high risk with all the game we have to contest in a season..

Now we have the talk of a winger that can also cover in that area and that leads us here to Paddy.

It appears Brendan is either actively pursuing patrick or putting the thumbscrews on the board to front him the cash for him. It may rest on the young lads shoulders, man city lokk to be easy enought o deal with we do business with them every season now...they are becoming a feeder club for us in a way(or we just buy their old * they dont want)

From where im standing the omens look good although it will largely be down to paddy what he does next- the first team at man city doesnt seem realistic right now so.. legend status and champions league must look very shiny right now

Interesting articlem, but the moment he get to stating about source I immediately discredit it when it comes to Roberts. No one expect Man City big wigs and their counter parts here know whats going on with this if anything at all.

If comes, I'll cry tears of joy that I'll end the drought of clean water in Africa but I can't believe anyone who says they got sources on this transfer.
