The Night 'The Bhoys' Became Men
Celtic 1 v 1 Manchester United
Battle of Britain round 2 finishes all square at Parkhead as the heroic hosts proved they are more than capable of competing at the highest level of European competition.
A brave and resolute Celtic side looked to be heading for their first victory of this seasons Champions League campaign with a stunning Scott McDonald strike before Ryan Giggs broke the home fan's hearts with a header six minutes from time. It was lucky 13 for McDonald as the little Aussie striker received a perfectly cushioned Gary Caldwell header into his path on the 13th minute, took one touch and despatched his finish with both composure and clinical accuracy. The Celtic fans were sent into raptures.

HOOPS WARY OF MAN U THREAT
This coming Wednesday sees the European Champions Manchester United come to Glasgow for what promises to be a mouth watering occasion, as part two of the 'Battle of Britain' takes centre stage on Champions League match day 4.
Sir Alex Ferguson's men have been in good form as of late, currently lying 3rd in the Premiership after a well fought win against Hull City at the weekend. Celtic have also been excelling domestically, sitting top of the SPL, and 3 points infront of rivals Rangers. They will be seeking to keep it tight at the back, not allowing...

NO HEARTS IN MOUTHS FOR HOOPS
Celtic fans could have been forgiven for having half an eye on Wednesday’s up and coming Champion’s league fixture against Manchester United; however, this was a luxury that Gordon Strachan’s men could ill afford when on Sunday they faced a Heart of Midlothian team with plenty of points to prove.
With new manager Csaba Laszlo at the helm, the Jambos have appeared far more settled of late – this despite a recent run of league form that has been less than encouraging. Tynecastle always provides a tough test, and Celtic were determined to continue their streak of domestic form that had seen them rack up eight consecutive wins.

HOOPS AND HEARTS
This Sunday, Celtic will look to get 3 points to remain top of the league in front of their main competitors Rangers. After tasting midweek cup success against an in-form Kilmarnock side, Gordon Strachan's men will be hoping to make it ten wins in a row on the domestic front.
Nonetheless, Hearts sit only two points off top of the SPL table - new manager Csaba Laszlo's fiery tutilage looks to be having the desired effect, and the players at Tyncastle will hope he can add some much needed stability to the club.
As well as speedy winger Andy Driver being fit, David Obua makes a return to first team affairs. Significantly, however, Laryea Kingston fails to make the squad; still struggling with injury, his pivotal influence will be sorely...
HOOPS TO THE SEMI’S
The quarter final stage of the Scottish League cup was completed yesterday evening, as reigning SPL Champions Celtic travelled away to Kilmarnock’s Rugby Park ground.
Expectation levels were high in the Celtic camp after an excellent run of domestic form which had seen the Hoops win 8 consecutive games, but this is a competition which has eluded Celtic in previous years. Facing a strong Kilmarnock outfit who have reached the lofty heights of 3rd place in the SPL itself, this encounter was billed as a stern test for Gordon Strachan’s Bhoys to overcome.
After a confident start from Kilmarnock, with the away team looking off the pace, Jim Jefferies will have been distraught at the manner in which his side went 1-0...
