has anyone noticed zurawski doesn't seem be at the races of late? i know he scored a few weeks back but other than that he don't seem to be making the runs he was last season.I'm wondering if the departure of petrov has effected his play more than we'd like to believe as stan always knew the runs magic would make and would find him more often than not.Just an observation, any thoughts

Their partnership was outstanding last season. That's why i didn't want Stan to leave Celtic. Without him Magic looks not that good. He can't find such a partner in any of our players.

What i've noticed yesterday - Gravesen was searching for Magic many times so i'm optimistic. 2 or 3 matches and i think they'll work fine together

I think perhaps the World Cup has taken it's toll on Magic, many players are often slow after major championships, hopefully it'll be only a matter of time before he gets his form back.
Personally I feel he is the best out and out striker we have at the club.

Just a random question now Szuwar, please dont take offence to it. But who were you supporting before Zurawski & Boruc joined Celtic?

Why you're asking? but ok... Wisla Cracow, Celtic Glasgow, Barca and Fc St Pauli Hamburg (well can't call it supporting but i was always lookin what's on with St Pauli)

Well i think your question is ridicolus. it's obvious i'll cheer more on Zurawski and Boruc than any other Celtic player...

Supporting club is constant... even if zurawski or boruc will go to any other club mate i will support celtic.

simple example? Kuszczak (PL) signed with ManU few months ago and i still hate the *... so where's your point?

may i ask why you're asking? is there any post written by me that made you suspicious?

I think its time for Zurawski to go. I think it was crazy to spend that money on him he is not even young and has not got one outstanding atribute. He is slow, * in the air, and dissapears during games he is not celtic class i would rather have signed Bednar and that is hard to swallow because i like the man. IMO he was even in the running for the shitiest player at the world cup i just dont see a 2m + player.

it's quite funny IMO. if it weren't Magic's goal Celtic probably wouldn't be Champions last season and you're talking it was bad move to sign him. but ik i respect your opinion

ludicrous imo .. of course it was a great move to sign magic .. hes quality clinical goalscorer when on form ...BUT ... he will have to seriously up his game week in week out ... he cant afford to have off days especially competition upfront imo ...if he aint scoring he aint contributing nothing else.. i feel ... on the flipside with miller when he aint scoring / scored yet but his contribution to the game influence overall is greater ...goals will surely come soon for him aswell .. if you understand he pressurise defence with closing down at pace etc.... with nakamura away from home he hides a few times ive seen but at cp on his day he can be great ... but we cant afford players like this to pick and chjoose thier games they must produce the goods week in week out ... not just at home or when they feel like playing for the jersey...thats the pressure that be celtic f.c. im afraid.

totally agree mate. without doubt magic this season is a half a player that we was watching last season but he is still scoring goal. and without doubt he must to prove his value week in week... just like kenny still must prove he can score goals for celtic...

i think without Riordan tested gs have some really headache who he should pick up for the ManU game while both Magic and Miller ar not at the top of their form...

I still think Magic is our best striker. Deadly in front of the net, unlike a certain Kenny Miller, who works his socks off but never scores, which hardly wins us games. beattie is injured all the time. riordan doesnt get his chance. VoH seems to be ace as well!

After a bad start and some injuries Magic raped the enemy's net all the time. some people tend to forget very soon.

Sorry to disagree but i think opposition defences will be happy to see his name on the celtic teamsheet. I really like Magic and he can put the ball in the net but IMO he really hardly does anything and he aint going to get any better. We could have a 2 million pound defender with Riordan, JVOH, Maloney, Beattie, and Miller to chose from up front. I think it was a crazy signing for an older player we even had Sutton and Hartson on the books at the time.

miller will score goals for us that im sure of... he gets into the positions all the time hes always there at the right time as all good strikers do and his pace give him many a chance... just he lack confidence atm ./ and or/ maybe too eager to score his first in the hoops combination of both / but when he does i think he could go on very good run tbh.

no one at all with any football knowledge can question millers work ethic / contribution to our side he gets right in the faces of defences wich make produce mistakes time again .. the lad just needs a couple of goals to keep the knives at bay.

I would have rather taken some time and spent the money more wisely on a younger talented striker who has a bit more about him who can still score the goals. I dont think it is wrong to sign an older player and again i like Magic but there are a lot of younger srikers out there that could at least do that job and score goals with more hunger and potential. We have invested money and Magic will walk away for nothing back to Poland. I would have rather strenthened the defence or went for youth for what we got.

Sorry, but Magic's played a season for us and ended up top scorer! He's top scorer for us this season! Yes, he's looked off the pace so far this season but that will come back to him. Remember, Miller hasn't been seen as an out and out goalscorer since he was at Ibrox (and still a teenager). If it came down to it who would you rather have the ball drop to in the 6 yard box Miller or Magic, I know who i would.

Having said all that i would play neither against Man U and have a 5 man midfield and VOH upfront by himself. :fear:

but dont forget, the guy who seems to be "too bad" for celtic right now has scored 3 goals so far, and some others havent even scored.

do we really want to let our topscorer leave?

Think Zurawski has finally been found out, another disapointing World Cup for the man who would not mind moving to Barcelona, Dream on son and start tackling, challenging and stop hiding

fair play...i wouldnt mind playing for barca... rather play for the tic tho!!

cant agree with you tho Fritz....23 goals from 36 apps (including 4 as a sub) .. i think thats a pretty good return. if he steers clear of injury he'll get plenty this season IMO.
