    First bought for me Christmas 79 and I still have the actual copy and even have a Picture disc of it. I was always going through my da’s vinyl and had a thing for Debbie Harry at age 5.:52:

    This Elton John cover is what got me addicted to vinyl. Used to study this for ages as a kid because it amazed me. All the detail and goings on. Made me check all the covers and inside sleeves.

    My own first purchase by me with my da’s money was probably 7” of Adam and the ants.

    Before that, I used to borrow my older brother and sister's CD's and cassettes. I do remember buying Madonna's single for the Austin Powers movie on cassette from Woolworths as a kid, but my Mum confiscated it because of the title, 'The Spy Who Shagged Me' :giggle1:
