there will always be a loyalist element of that clubs support that sympathies with a certain side up here

but the club and their non-short memory fans will recall what celtic done for their club after hillsbrough

 

that joint banner .. is about the deaths of football fans at two different football stadiums.

No connection in terms of fanbase between both clubs.

Chelsea and rangers ... yes . Liverpool ... no.

 

There are Liverpool-Celtic fans, though there is Liverpool-Rangers fans.

No point in kidding on.

Even those that 'like' Rangers should still be able to see what Celtic done for Liverpool.

 

I have seen that banner before. I dont get it to be honest. I also dont feel that we have a special relationship with Liverpool, though I know it was us that they turned to for their memorial game after Hillsborough. The Orcs couldnt have been trusted at such an occasion.

 

Some prefer celtic , some prefer rangers.

 

Just remembering supporters that died.Nothing wrong with that at all.

im sure there is liverpool rangers fans. Like theres man utd celtic fans.
But theres no historic connection between liverpool and rangers .

In saying that , only connection we have with them is the YNWA anthem . We would have more a connection with everton that liverpool . Due to the background of both clubs.

 

I also dislike Liverpool

They think the world owes them a living

 

Liverpool were founded by a member of the O.O.

A lot of their fans are Loyalists. I know this.

It's not just a coincidence that some of them support liverpool and Rangers. No, it's a Loyalism thing

 

At least this dispels the myth that we have some sort of relationship with them.

I hate liverpool , most of my m8s are pool fans.

I read somewhere that liverpool fc represented the protestant unionist side of liverpool .. everton , the irish catholic side .

But aside from that .. i just dont like the club in general .

 

Barr santos laguna which is a business link more than anything the only other club we have a proper connection with imo is st pauli.

If you mean Derry have a connection with celtic, yea , just like many other clubs . Barca, st pauli , etc etc ? wana elaborate??

 

I don't think we have a "connection" with any team apart from a good,healthy one with St Pauli.Which I haven't always been a biggest fan of.but they're supporters are sound and I like the tradition of that club.
I don't think we should be looking for people to be pals with though if you know what I mean.Seems a bit clingy imo.Like with Barca......where the * did that one come from?
