Witty Banter From The Arsenal Support

What do u all think from the Arsenal support thought they were fantastic good crowd the banter was great and wed have done the same had we been winning.

 

Didn't think they were anything special to be honest. Only half decent chant was 'You should have gone to see U2'.

 

Heard GSTQ in the second half.

 

Banter was good, but they arent the greatest bunch of supporters weve came across, a supporters bus went by on the way in and they were all giving me the thumbs and waving, whereas sometimes you would expect to get 2 fingers waving lol. Heard them singing you shoulda went to u2. Liked it when we sang your gonna win f**k all lol.

couldn't hear them clear where i was when ever they started we usually responed and drowned out their sound. what else where they saying?

 

i thought i heard them at one stage signing '* you rangers you'll never win the lge, you'll never win the lge

 

All i could hear was Arsenal x5 or whatever spammed.

 

I thought they were good value.

 

I sit the opposite end and never heard them they didn't seem anything special. The best fans that have came to Celtic Park are probably Sunderland in pre-season they made noise and filled their end and were quite colourful. Even in the Champions League most teams never fill the away end Dynamo Moscow looked like they all came on the one motorbike.

 

Well done to the Arsenal fans for giving it "THERES ONLY ONE JOHNNY HARTSON", near the end of the game. Noticed a few tricolours amongst their fans aswell. At least they didn't indulge in the "FTP" crap that the Mancs were giving it last season, to wind us up. Thought their chant of "IS THERE A FIRE DRILL" when all our fans started leaving with 5mins to go was quite witty tbh.

 

The 'fire drill' chant was deserved at us tbh as once the second goal went in people were leaving en masse. Sad to see. Naturally when they couldn't hink up any of their own songs they resorted to 'England' chants, we responded with 'Argentina'

Highlight wasn't an Arsenal fan but some guy who decided to bring a massive stuffed white tiger with him, complete with Celtic scarf, was hilarious when he held it up while shouting. * it we'll blame the tiger for last night

 

Best fans I've seen at Parkhead was Barca. At the end of the match they were singing 'Celtic Celtic Celtic' and they were leaning over the stewards swapping scarves and tops. They appreciated our atmosphere. Best I've seen.

 

i thought it was funny as * when their support started chanting
"Are You Rangers In Disguise"

most chants i was laughing at but i really took it to heart and got pissd when they sang "thats why you're spl!" lol

 

Yes same when we * up near the end but the rest were funny i thought.

 

I seen someone posted here that they were singing "There's only one John Hartson". Great gesture. And that lad also said someone from the crowd lobbed a bottle at Arshavin. Talking about crap on CP that may never walk there again. Disgrace.
