Why dont they/we?

Been thinking this for a while, if the spl clubs are so cash strapped why dont they do what the south american and even french teams do - put more than one sponsor on their top - like another 4 smaller ones. Its not like it ruins the look of the strip or anything. We could do it also.

Isn't this such an obvious thing to do? or are their laws in Scotland/Uk against this?

 

Smaller SPL clubs struggle to get decent paying sponsors as it is.

 

I do like the look of the french shirts but I don't think celtic need to on their shirts one on the front and one on the back.

But I think we need to get rid of the stupid carling block it's nice but it's a brick in the middle of the shirt and gets crushed when you fold it.

good idea I think, but I can imagine it getting silly... like, 5 or 6 sponsors on a shirt.

 

I imagine that clubs can get more money for placing just one sponsor on a strip. Businesses would want to have their name there alone. Do you think Carling would pay as much as they do now to see their sponsor alongside Tennants or something (for example lol). Definitely not.

 

A lot of clubs have matchday sponsors , and also sponsor the players kit , the players Car ect ect .If this all had to come from the club more clubs would be skint .Sponsorship is hard to find , we are lucky in that respect that being a big club we can attract such a huge brand in Carling and Nike in to our club ..long may it continue !
