    Well having a large slice of my life in both great cities i go for Glasgow,its bigger without doubt,but it is also better!

    Worked for a Salford based company hated going down there

    Lived in both. Glasgow's more culturally important, Manchester more economically important. Manchester metropolitan area is far bigger, but Glasgow city is bigger than Manchester city.

    In terms of which is better to live in, it depends what bit you live in I spoese.

    Lived in both. Glasgow's more culturally important, Manchester more economically important. Manchester metropolitan area is far bigger, but Glasgow city is bigger than Manchester city.

    Manchester, and the reason for that is that there is little or no sectarianism, no one gives a * about religion.

    At least there is 30 miles between them, can't think of anything worse than living amongst people who have the attitude of the Hun, don't know how you do it.

    Glasgow without a doubt. It's bad enough listening to Wrigleys pish on here without living in Manchester and bumping into him in the street
