    As the title suggests.

    Positives

    - Commons, Forrest and Griffiths are all capable of providing a good enough attacking threat at this level (Qualifiers/Europa League)
    - Jozo and Tierney showed flashes of what they could become, and even Boyata started to look a little more solid.
    - We've scored goals in all but 2 of our European ties.

    Negatives

    - We're suffering as a result of individual errors (Ambrose, Gordon, Izaguirre). That's down to the players
    - We're still vulnerable from set plays. That's down to coaching on the training pitch.
    - We're weak when defending counter-attacks. That;s down to tactics.

Has anyone got anything else to add?

And will we actually learn from these mistakes next year?

Izzy, efe and shifty are not good enough for europe. and need replacing even away from the bench.

At times this team has looked good and defence is looking better...there may be hope.
But with RD it can go either way.

We seem to just stick to the "system" no matter how the game is playing out.

We need to learn how to defend and by that I don't mean the back 4 but the whole team.

We got pumped out with no wins but out scored most teams in the groups( or at least scored as many as them, we outscored all of the below.)

    ie
    Fenerbahce
    Ajax
    Liverpool
    Sion
    Rubin Kazan
    Bordeaux
    PAOK
    Gabala
    Dinamo Minsk
    Dnipro
    Rosenborg
    besiktas
    Skendereu
    Lech Poznan
    Beleneses
    Monaco
    Qarabag
    Asteras Tripoli
    APOEL

We are competing in Europe and rebuilding a defence at the same time.
We need to keep a settled squad and team, maybe get rid of a couple of people and bring in a couple more in January.

We've learned; Griffiths isn't good enough for Europe, Gordon's a liability, Boyata currently isn't up to scratch, Armstrong is completely ineffective on the left, Lustig is past it and we can't cope with fast counter attacks.

The positives are Forrest is a gem at this level, Commons will score, Jozo and Tierney are spot on and that we have something to build on if we buy the right players.

If we could basically get a copy of forrest and a copy of Jozo then a quality striker I think we could do really well next year.

More than anything we've seen we're capable of putting in professional performances away from home. There's no reason why we can't be more pragmatic at home either.

We did not learn this about Commons this year , he has been banging in goals in Europe ( especially qualifiers ) since he got here.

We shouldn't buy from Dundee United.

We conceded two goals in just about every game, it's no wonder we never won. Need to tighten up at the back and we'll be alright, although last night showed that if Griffiths isn't fit, we haven't got much up front - Stokes would have done better than Ciftci last night

The main thing we have learned, in my opinion, is that we have very quickly gone from a team who others feared, to a team that others probably smile when they get us in the draw.

    we don't belong there.

Commons, Forrest & Nir Bitton are our best players.

Griffiths & tierney have been really effective although not consistant.

The rest are not fit for europe.
