Today we were * in the final third, no point beating about the bush, wasteful and always making the wrong choice.

Lennon then introduced wee Forest and like he did at Hibs a fortnight ago he quickly upped the tempo and wee started to flow a * of a lot better, and sooner or later the goal came and he almost scored him self!

So does anyone else think Forrest will be a big player for us this season? If Commons plays like he did on the right today, then i think Forrest could really challenge him for his place in the starting XI. Thoughts?

How did he change the game?

He did OK, gave us much needed width, but let's not get carried away.

A good squad player, but no where near the dribbling prowess or end product of McCourt.

The players look alot faster this season. Hooper and Forrest i have noticed. Commons did have a bad day but he kept trying and Lennon stuck with him and he got the Assist in the end.

Forrest will become a top player for us in the future will look forward too see how he does for Scotland next week.

Forrest is brilliant, he's our most direct winger and definitely has the talent :50:

He looked brillant when he came on against Hibs too. Delighted about how he's progressed. Could be a big player fo us! Well in Jamesy :50:

He immediately upped the tempo and we played much better as soon as he came on, and did similar at Easter road two weeks ago.

He has a great end product, dont know what you mean by that.

    Something funny?

What does direct mean, does he run in straight lines?

i think he should start over commons if commons is going to be played on the right because he has looked totally ineffective out their.

    Aye, that quote.

If you don't know what direct means in footballing terms then you've got a lot to learn :50:

I think he did OK, don't get me wrong, but I think we sneaked a win through Foster being a daft * and Commons determination.

He certainly gave us some width that we were lacking.

He did well when he came on but the goal was all Commons.

Things weren't coming off for him but his work was all excellent right up until the final product. Still got stuck in, kept probing and trying to create and it finally came off :50:

Would have dropped two points if he had been taken off rather than Ledley for Forrest.

Commons is a fantastic player imo. Offers us so much.
