Linkin Park are one of the most popular bands of the 21st century. To say they had one notable song and/or album is just blatantly wrong. In fact, apparently they are the best-selling band of the 21st century!

I get your point about people who aren't fans jumping on the bandwagon but you're way off the mark with Linkin Park and their place in music. For me, they are in the same bracket as Green Day in terms of their contribution to rock music. Albeit Green Day are more "mainstream".

Talking of Chester Bennington. I was only the other day listening to Linkin Park and it kind of hit me again that we'll never hear new stuff from him or Chris Cornell. Two of my favourite singers in the genre gone in the space of a few months. * depressing.
