Never liked Yaya Toure, cracking player though he is a absolute * apparently.

Pep said today "When Yaya increases his intensity without the ball, he will be involved"

Yaya hasn't looked arsed for the past couple seasons, the whole * with the Birthday Cake and has comments after Aubameyang won African POTY just show how much of a egomaniac the * is.

This thread needs to be closed until the end of the transfer window.

Xavi, Yaya Toure, Schweinsteiger and Gerrard... the glue must be stronger these days

That's why I said eventually inferring when Pogba comes to the end of his career

However regardless of age yaya could easily play at an other champions league team or go to usa China for the money.

When you factor it all in it is still a pipe dream. Just because it's not impossible doesn't make it probable

    'Non media rumours'

Most folk aren't taking it seriously! Can only post the rumours going about, however ridiculous.

They are often the most enjoyable.

  9. Why would someone even want Yaya Toure, is beyond me. Dressing room killer. Not worth the money he's being paid.

Luke Freeman from Bristol City. Attacking midfielder, can also play on the wing. Personally I think he'd be a solid CM for us. A combination of Brown/Rogic in my opinion. Can win the ball back, but is also dangerous in the final third. Really solid at closing down his man but has quality on the ball as well. Saw him on TV a few times last season by chance and was really impressed with him. He's got a great motor and is solid in possession. Think he'd thrive under Rodgers high tempo of play.

He's nothing incredible but I think he's a diamond in the rough. Could be playing on a better team at a higher level. Should we be looking for a player with more experience at a better level of play; yes. Not gonna stop me from suggesting him tho... :icon_mrgreen:

I'd also take a look at Barry Douglas if Izzy does end up leaving. Haven't seen him play but we were linked last year before he moved to Turkey and his value has shot up since he left Dundee United. Don't know too many fullbacks who we could move for if he does move on. Perhaps Ralston or Janko could fill in if needed? Both are more suited on the right side.

No way they'd let him go but I'd take Krystian Bielek from Arsenal. Can play CDM or CB, would be absolutely perfect for us.

Anyone think Jason Cummings could become a decent striker for us?

No doubt you would have said the same about a suggestion of Griffiths before we signed him.

They're both left footed Scottish strikers and play(ed) for Hibs .

Jason Cummings looks a young promising striker (Even if he is a tool), just a suggestion.

If I had suggested Griffiths about 3-4 years ago to you you would have given the same response.
