Well here it is the BIG one. A must win game for the hoops. Our awesome home record needs to be kept intact here. 3 points are essential, nothing less will do. I'm really looking forward to this one and think we can turn them over the way we did last year. A similar performance is just whats needed. Post all the chat ahead of the biggest game of the season so far in here.

I'm confident we'll get the result. Our home record is, as we all know, superb and Benfica won't have good memories of CP either. I am not sure what would be the best result for us in the other game though. It's really up in the air but all we can do is win this and then see where we sit after that.

it's gonna be a tough game but i think we'll take the 3pts,i can't wait for it! i think in the other game i'd prefer milan to beat shakhtar as it would mean if milan beat benfica in their other game and we beat shakhtar at home,a draw at the san siro would put us both through

we beat benfica and shaktar at home and get beat by milan in san siro we finish on 9pts

Shaktar get beat by us and milan but beat benfica they finish on 9pts

so what we are lookin for is at least a 2-0 scoreline against shaktar

 

i think milan will defo go through because they alwasy seem to manage to do it. so Shakhtar gettin humped will do us good as long as we can beat them at home. anywayyy... celtic 2-0 on tuesday

 

It's horrible to think of how close we were in Lisbon.A draw there would have put us in a great position now we are struggling

 

Will be interesting to see how WGS sets up. Will he do what he does at home against technically superior teams (Man U, Milan etc) and go 4-5-1 and change to 4-4-2 after an hour or will he just go for an attacking 4-4-2 from the start. I am not sure because Benfica are not that good and I think we could quickly steamroller them with an attacking formation. Their defense is defo dodgy at cross balls. I hope its 4-4-2:
