    I keep hearing that Nirvana "owned this tune"
    Personally, i think that's bollox, You can't touch bowie, on this song.

    always hated the production on the bowie version, its poor. really liveless, i think the nirvana version is amazing

    Nirvana version all the way for me. Bowie's is class, but Nirvana's has something about it that Bowie's doesn't.

    Nirvana by a country mile. It's one of the top 3 covers of all time if you ask me, up there wae the Mondays Step On and Gilmour doing Dominoes. Phenomenal. In fact that whole gig was out of this world, i'll never get tired of listening to that.

    I listen to Nirvana's version often and it's great. And I just listened to Bowies version - Nirvana just totally own it, I thought Bowies version was bad.

    i like the nirvana version and listened to it for many years after it came out, but the bowie version is the original, and to me its far better, off course thats my own opinion, others will differ, but perhaps they aint into bowie, his was a classic, sung the way it was meant to be, no cover versions, and i bet you Curt Cobain would DEFINATELY agree as he was a mad bowie fan!
