116 to 112 is utter madness

  4. Aye I thought he shaded it..

Benn was swinging wildly a lot, was in the pocket loads. Felt like Eubank was a bit cleaner and better with the jab and uppercut..

Down the stretch in the championship rounds he took them as well and almost had Benn out at the end..

Not really when so many of the rounds were close. I think Eubank finished rounds better in general which always makes a difference

You're not serious. How can you call that fight rigged? They were trying to knock each others heads off.

Looking at the state of Eubanks face, wow I'm surprised he won that. Was definitely closer than 4 point gap.

    Cracking fight tbh.

    That was tremendous

Thought it was closer, but both went hard at it. Benn's stamina impressed albeit last 2 was goosed

I think you have to realise winning a round clearly often only gets you the same of just knicking a round. Judges are urges not to go 10-10 so they need to find a winner in the round. You can be the better fighter but still lose because you are fighting 12 3 minute fights rather than a 36 minute one.

Very good fight. Both gave their all. Thought Eubanks experience won him the fight in the end, which was the right decision although not by 4, but there were alot of close rounds.

Actually thought when Benn slowed and was more measured that played in to Eubanks strengths. When Benn was wilder and erratic, he was quicker and was getting success.

Tremendous pace from first bell to last. So hard for Benn to keep that wild, quick style up. A rematch would get the numbers, but not sure there's anything to gain for either of them. Benn could win a world title and is a good age for it.

Hopefully both get good fights soon. Their styles make them good viewing.

Aye it was all rigged mate.

Battering lumps out each other for 36 minutes, taking hooks, upper cuts, jabs, accidental headbutts and elbows to the face all night long.

Separating yourself from your family for 3 months, weight cutting to the point that it’s medically ill advised, dedicating your entire life to your craft.

All rigged. What’s the point in watching it?

People buy into things being rigged when the outcome isn’t what they expect it to be.

I remember people saying Jake Paul vs Woodley was rigged when Paul literally turned his lights off and left him face down on the canvas :giggle1:

This is a good point and something people often overlook.

Not a massive fan of the scoring system and would prefer rounds to be scored a draw more often, or at least some difference in scoring between someone clearly winning a round, and someone potentially nicking a round. However, as things stand it’s scored exactly as you described.
