There is great interest in Tammer Bany, Tipsbladet learns.

Tammer Bany has had a comet career.

Just under a year ago, he moved from B.93 to Randers FC for just under a million kroner, and now the 21-year-old offensive player is one of the Superliga's hottest transfer targets.

Tipsbladet reported at the beginning of January that the Belgian top club Union Saint-Gilloise had a bid of 10 million kroner rejected. Lausanne from Switzerland also had a bid rejected.

There is now barely a week left in the transfer window, and according to Tipsbladet's information, several big clubs are swarming around Tammer Bany.

Specifically, Scottish champion club Celtic as well as FC Nantes from France, OH Leuven from Belgium, Al Ahli from Egypt and Rakow Częstochowa from Poland are showing interest in the Randers star seed.

Several of the clubs have also contacted the player's backers to learn more about Tammer Bany, but as far as Tipsbladet understands, no further offers have yet landed on Randers' table. Therefore, it is far from certain that he will leave Randers FC this winter.

Last week, Søren Pedersen also said in an interview with Tipsbladet that they expect to have the offensive player in the spring.

– The plan is that Rasmus (Bertelsen, ed.) will also have him available when we start up again. But it is clear that he is one of those who has been very active around, and there are still clubs that are interested, so I would not say that I am 100 percent sure that he will be here when the window closes, but the ambition is that he will stay, said the sporting director last week.

If he has to leave, it will certainly not be cheap. Randers has sold players for over 20 million in Filip Bundgaard and Mads Enggård, and the price of Tammer Bany could very well reach those heights as well.

Surely this is a third option, and not a Kyogo replacement if it happens?

Sounds like they are talking about a fee of about £2m. If there is truth in Kenny being moved on and Cummings being allowed to leave then maybe there is something in this.

Edit: I see he is more an attacking midfielder possibly could play wide option. For the price spoken about here he does look to have something about him and is only 21. Very good close control and a decent eye for a pass which would be handy against low blocks.

 

Sounds more a no.10 to me

 

He's probably fancying a 4-2-3-1 like first time around with KT coming back and needs a proper number 10 like the wizard of Oz for next season.

His quick footwork is impressive and looks a player..

Some of our other links are more appealing to me though..

 

Good feet, eye for a pass, tenacious, picks up good positions. Only concern from that video would be that he doesn’t seem particularly quick.

Aye when he was running in on the keeper he looked quite slow..

 

I do think we need an option for a 10 but someone who is happy to be in and out of the team - he fits the bill

 

Looks more like a CM midfielder to me, and we have plenty of them, and he does not look better than anyway we have already got. More need for a defensive midfielder this window, considering the big games we have coming up. None of the interested clubs have made any bid for him either yet, which is not a good sign, if you are looking for quality.
