Why not? Celtic use Rosshall (a private hospital) on the soutside for medicals and its open 24/7.

 

They just don't want their squad bloated, they have Xavi, Toure, Keita, Pique and Marquez who can play in that position so it's easier just to sell him on for a million or so and then stick a clause in with a buy-back price if he shows his talent and reaches potential.

I don't understand the panic. If we were a couple of days away from the end of the window then fine but we still have a month to bring players in and ship a few out.

The stalling over the contract will save us 200k a year, not and insignificant sum but it also keeps the amount that defenders earn at the club down. I reckon Mick wouldn't be happy if there was another defender earning lots more than him at the club would he?

He's A Defensive Midfielder, but is really creative, has good passing, good work rate etc.

he probably won't be able to get by Charlie Adam, but that doesn't mean hes not a good player :icon_mrgreen:

 

I wouldn't say pannic but it would have been dissapointing if we didn't learn our lesson from last season and be ready for the start and especially the OF game just before the T/Window closes. If we get these 2, then I feel we're just a couple of players short of what we need to have a good season (League and cups anyway).

I don't see what's wrong with the agents being greedy. It is there job to be greedy and get the most money they can for their player.
