    So you say.

But all you've said appears to just be guesses and stating the obvious. Saying that Armstrong will start on Saturday kinda made me think you know nothing, no offence.

Wouldn't really matter as in European qualification it's a nothing cup as no winner can qualify for Europe.
Even if Utd win or lose it's irrelevant as they wouldn't be able to play in the final if Celtic sign them as they would be cup tied.

Maybe they're waiting to see if they can get to the final first then sell him on. If they played us in the final with him in their team, but with him being heavily linked to signing for us then that would be very interesting indeed.

Imagine him scoring the winner against us. Would we still sign him? Probably aye. We got Scott McDonald after all.

They'd be losing their best 2 players before a cup final. It wouldn't be irrelevant.

    That makes sense for all.

    Hope the sheep win.

  13. Aye, he's always been quick, similar to Johansen.

Brown, Bitton, Henderson, Johansen, Armstrong, Forrest, Mackay-Steven, Stokes and Griffiths would be good midfield options for us. Plenty of goals and creativity for domestic football. Plus Brown, Johansen and Armstrong are the type of hard-working midfielders who can do a good job in Europe.

There's goals in that team, a lot of goals. Pretty certain of that when you add Scepovic, Guidetti and Tonev.

It's amazing when you stop and think about how good a midfield/attack we could have - that's actually Scottish.
Playing the 4231 formation that could be:

    Gordon(sco)
Matthews(wal), VVD (Dutch), Mulgrew (Sco), Izzy(hon)
    Brown(Sco), Henderson(Sco)
    Mackay-Stevens(Sco), Johansen(Nor), Armstrong(Sco)
    Griffiths(Sco)
7 of the starting 11, with the likes of Forrest, McGregor, McMullan, O'Connell all either first team players, or potential to be. Great squad of Scottish talent there (Armstrong dependent of course).

Aye. I'd say probably even faster than Johansen once he gets going.

Strikes me as the definition of a dynamic midfielder, has near enough everything. £2m is a very fair price and we will regret not paying it IMO, I think we will get this one done though.
