STRIKER URGENTLY REQUIRED

Below is a list of strikers we our taking to the US and I have to say it looks very poor. I didnt realise how much we need a quality striker untill I seen this . I also cant think of any other decent strikers on the books.

IF ras or fortune ( dosent get lots of goals anyway ) get injured we r fuccked.

Listen lads all the decent strikers are or were involved in the world cup so we will need to wait till they comeback from south africa or there holidays before we can start signing talks

 

McGowan just signed an extension, doubt that will happen. He has to bring in somebody, and I have faith in Lennon's ability to bring in the right player.

 

Not necessarily have u seen some of the good teams thats missing from the world cup because fifa have to keep up with a continental allocation quota that lets teams like honduras, new zealand & north korea join the party but no Czech Republic, Russia, Sweden or Turkey

 

dont know why everyone thinks Rassmussen is going to be the real deal next season. need 1 or 2 more strikers in

 

i think he will be good a natural finisher a poacher but still want someone better

 

i think rassmussen will be the striker to bag the goals next year but we need another player to depend on as he has not shown enough to be regarded as our main goal threat . need to sign a player with some flair, a player that would make us fans want to watch celtic week in an out

 

Looking at those strikers makes me depressed :L

Hopefully we get at least one top striker, or at least kind of proven

 

Spot on mate, that * Mowbray sold McDonald. Ras I think is a proven goalscorer.

we need 2 imo , mcgowan and hutchinson probably wont feature much.
We got rassa who can hold the ball up but we really need a striker with pace to play of him , MAF and sammy (if hes here are to slow ) .
Our main strength will be our midfield next year and our defence im hoping will be alot stronger with mulgrew , du ri , JOS and a new signing, but my main worry is we have * all bite upfront.
Honestly stokes would be a good shout imo understandably he's not everyone first choice nor mines but hes got abit of pace and a proven spl scoring ability, fits the bill unless we manage to get a marquee signing that were all dreaming off.

 

I agree scores goals for the likes of Hibs so obviously has a proven record for being a threat to goal so I think playin for us he would bag AT LEAST 30 a season as he would have more chances at goal than at any other team as we seem to create a lot of chances but did not have the finishing quality needed up front..
