[No Link] Stokes to Burnley

Just rumoured on SSN transfer deadline day ..my opinion is he has gone stale , wouldn't be the worst deal in the world to get rid .

 

He frustrates the life out of me and I'd welcome the deal myself tbh

i would sell him, but its no fault of his own, hes being used out of position.

He's certainly not indispensible, but has played well this season and there are numerous players I'd like to see out the door before him. At the end of the day, we shouldn't be selling a player who has been a bonafide starter all season, especially this close to the end of the window and when (rightfully so) a large part of our support have serious doubts as to whether any income from his sale would be reinvested in the team.

* me, this thread. I'm far from his biggest fan but unless we're getting a few million there's not a chance we should sell him. Might be very frustrating at times but he doesn't half burst his * for the team and can be involved in some great link up play. Obviously pops up with a few goals as well.

 

Sell him to fund Armstrong. Great piece of business.

I honestly often wonder if people actually watch our games.

Not his biggest fan but he has been important this season, very important.

But I think that says more about our team, rather than his ability. He's an average player who has a blinder every month or two. At this moment in time, we shouldn't sell him. But I wouldn't be against it when we get another couple of players in.

 

Why do people say this? Of course you're allowed an opinion, you just expressed it and I replied.

Sure he's only got the 20 odd goals and assists this season from LM but he's been off the boil for a couple of games... I know, lets sell him!

I wouldn't sell him on the last day of the window. If the right offer came in during the Summer perhaps we should consider it. As has been said though, there is a whole squad of players who should be out the door before Stokes.

 

We've played * when he was out this season and he loves the club, no reason to sell

 

Nobody wanted stokes at celtic more than me but in all honesty he's not great. Every couple of months he has a good game as a previous poster said. A good game mind not a great game. I would rather he moved on and made room for someone else. He isn't going to improve and he's not good enough as is.
